We visited this church for the first time on Easter Sunday of 2017; and our entire families life has been changed like never before! From the moment we approached the gate there was a lighted signed that stated "first time visitors, turn your headlights on". We did so and noted that there were greeters there to meet us, along with special parking reserved for us!!! even though no one was expecting us!! The greeters were so efficient that by the time we parked, they were there to open open our doors for us with heartfelt Welcome!!, one of them, then escorted us to the welcome desk. On approaching the desk, I noted there were two ladies there, as i looked around for my family each of them were already engaged in conversation with someone of their age group or from one of the ministries of the church that might appeal to them. The welcome was so warm it felt homely!! and real, not fake and pretentious.... As we entered the sanctuary, again, everyone greeted us so warmly, My thoughts were lets see how long this last. The praise and worship was to die for..... not just a group of people singing but those that know how to Praise the Lord and to usher you into His presence to Worship the Father. It felt like I had died and went to Heaven. The SERMON....was not just a burst of loud barking, but the word of God being taught so simple, effectual and relevant, simple and succinct that a child can understand. Fastforward......... It's now been a year and am still attending Canaan Land and nothing has fallen off the cart or by the wayside. This church is all that a church should be and more homebase, a community partner, a school, a place of refuge, a place of fun and family time, a shelter, a hand in time of need just to name a few, this church is just phenomenal. If you don't have a church home come visit US!! at Canaan Land International, Snellville Georgia. Am sure your life will not be the same after your visit.

Great church for families. There is not a lot for single adults as far as Sunday school classes or activities, but everyone is so nice and they preach what I believe to be the proper message of Christ (it's real simple, love everybody) I go anyway.

Our pastor, Jeff Daws, wanted to meet with us one night. We meet and found out that the pastor wanted us to "put our membership on hold" because me and my fiancé are "living in sin". We was furious & upset. This was supposedly a "judgement free" church. Who was he to judge? Needless to say we never returned. Don't attend unless you want to be judged by someone not so Godly and be pressured to give money.
