Double J Pet Ranch is incredible! Jason and Shannon took ownership of this business a year ago and we were referred there by friends of ours. Our experience was simply top-notch! Our two dogs spent two weeks there and let me tell you...there is NO other place that we will bring our dogs for boarding PERIOD! Their facility is immaculate and they have many large areas for dogs to play and exercise..acres! When we returned from our vacation our dogs were very happy to see us but they really enjoyed their time meeting other 4 legged friends. The staff took extra special care of our 16.5 year old border collie mix and made certain that she got all of her medications and that she was comfortable. Jason and Shannon's compassion for animals is infectious! They truly care about all of their "guests" and it really shows! We have boarded our dogs at other places and they have returned a bit scared/shocked. However, when we returned from Double J, they were happy to see us but most noticeably they wanted to stay and sniff/play! I can't say enough great things about Jason and Shannon's professionalism and true love of animals. Double J is the ONLY place we will be boarding our dogs from here on out! read more

I was very nervous on leaving my yellow lab at a kennel but now I am excited whenever I have to because I know he will be well cared for! Using Double J for my lovable pup can be compared to dropping my child off for play dates with his friends and extended family! I have used Double J for multiple occasions and every time I go and pick him up I see him running around playing with all the other dogs with a big smile and his floppy tongue hanging out! He is so worn out when we get home he sleeps for days, which shows how much he was able to run around on the 2 acres. He now recognizes the place and whenever we are pulling up, his tail is wagging and can't wait to get out of the car and play! The staff is excellent and treats every dog that comes in as their own and it shows! I would definitely recommend using Double J if you're looking for a place that loves animals, knowledgeable, and provides great care! read more

Great place for our 4 legged family members to run around. I highly recommend it! My 7 month old puppy had extreme separation anxiety. I took him to 2 other places before Double J Ranch but his anxiety only grew worse. Other doggie daycares have a bunch of dogs in the same room, where they can also use as a bathroom and overall, it wasn't a good experience. I decided to give it another shot at Double J Ranch because the set up was/is so different than other kennels and daycare facilities and it's been great! I think dogs love it because they get to run around a lot yet there's still a structure, as they're put in their individual, great size kennels during down time. All the guys that work there are super nice, they like dogs and dogs seem to like them back! Without a doubt, I recommend Double J Ranch. read more

Bailey, a two-year-olf Golden Retriever, has stayed in the day care program a few times, but we were a little worried about how she would handle a sleepover. Well, she did fine. The handler said she was great with the folks who work there. They know she doesn't participate in group play, so they had her outside by herself. She did not seem stressed by her visit, just tired and thirsty. It was a new situation for her to be away from us all night, but when I had her leash and was leading her to the car, she turned around and headed back to the several staff members standing nearby. I've loved double J since the very first day I took my two pups there. They are so kind & professional when it comes to the dogs. My pups are my world and I trust the staff there fully to care for them and never have any worries. All staff are super friendly and have great communication skills. My pups are always so excited to go to daycare and always come home ready for bed because they get so much exercise. I love the fact this place allows the dogs to run outside in the sun/snow/rain and let them play to their hearts content. I have used this place for my shiba Inu! Which if you know the breed is usually very skiddish. He came back happier then ever. This place is beautiful! It has a 2 acre dog park you can add on to your stay where the dogs run around. It's perfect for dogs that need that extra ruining! Not to mention this place is the cleanest dog kennel I have ever seen. Staff is excellent and knowledgeable. Prices are the lowest I've found out here. This place is all around great. We have been taking our two dogs to Double J for 8 years. We are so impressed with the staff and the owner! The staff is great at listening to my dog's needs and always have suggestions to make things easier on our dogs. They understand the stress level and what happens when a dog is not at home near their owner. We feel so lucky to be able to leave our dogs with them and not feel stressed about it . I have checked out other kennels but this one is the one i liked the best for my needs. First time we brought our mini took a few minutes but our dog walked over to Jeff which I must say sure surprise us since he is a bet nervous about new things, but he stayed for the night and seemed to do find when we picked him up the next day. Since then we have brought him several time and he seems to enjoy his time there, he gets to meet other dogs. I would recommend this to others. read more

Recently moved here from Texas & was nervous about trying a new boarding place for my older dogs (both 13 years). I'm glad I found Double J. My dogs love it! Amazing staff. They take a sincere interest in your dog(s) & go the extra mile with medications (& even bandage changes in one case). I boarded my dog for two nights during 4th of July. He is an old dog and very afraid of fireworks. When I picked him up he was smelly and full of feces. He had urinated on himself which he never does. They didn't try to clean him up. When I asked why I was told it was because they had no towels. Update: I was contacted by a very apologetic gentleman who was very concerned that this had happened. I appreciate this. They are going to make it right. read more

We love Double J for day care and boarding. Our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs love spending time with the other dogs and the human staff as well :) Our 4 year old guys loves to run and play. The best place for him! Our 8 year old rescue has warmed up to the experience because of the gentle care the staff took to make her feel comfortable. Been taking my Golden Retriever here past few months for both boarding & play. Rocky comes home tuckered out from having "acres of fun". Our dog Dottie has always had a great time at Double J. we love that they have an expansive yard that allows the dogs to run. That is exactly what a larger dog needs. She was shy at first but the friendly staff have really opened her up. If you have a bigger dog and want to know it is being taken care of and exercised, bring your dog to Double J. read more

Our dogs are family. There's nowhere we feel safer and they feel happier than Double J. The staff are amazing and already know everything about our girls. The staff at Double J are always attentive to your dogs specific needs! They offer doggy daycare or Board and Play packages in which the dogs are always accompanied and observed. The kennels are always spotless. My dogs know the driving route to Double J and always bark or whimper out of excitement the entire drive until we pull in!!! read more

We are extremely pleased with the care our German Shepherd gets at Double J Pet Ranch. The employees are all great and are real dog lovers!! They provide pictures of the dogs playing together so a person sees how their dog is getting along and is having a good time. This is the only place in this area we trust with our baby. read more
