Okay so my realtor advised me to paint my house prior to selling it. I got a handful of bids from local painters. Double Barrel was my pick due to the price, the clear explanation of what work was going to be done and their timeline. I am so impressed with them as they finished my house today. I thought my house looked pretty good before, but WOW! I got home from work today and could not believe how incredible my house looks. I can tell that I truely got my moneys worth from these guys. The owner's name is Tim and he runs a tight ship from what I can see. His guys were very professional and polite. During the process of moving into our new home we had to find a company to remove wall paper and paint. Because we were moving from outside the area we had no idea who to work with. Our realtor referred us to Double Barrel Painting and we chose go with them. From the first call discussing the job to the post-completion walk through, it was a great dealing with such a professional and courteous company. One aspect of the job that concerned us was the super tight time frame the painting work would be on. We needed the wallpaper removal and painting work to begin the day we got the keys and be done in time for cleaners to ready the home for our arrival seven days later. If the painting was delayed, house cleaners, carpet cleaners, and most importantly long-distance movers would all have to be rescheduled. Double Barrel assured us they would be in on time and have the job done on schedule. They arrived early the day the job was to start and were done early on the day they said the job would be completed! The crew that worked in our home was polite and friendly and very gracious when our two young sons asked them questions or observed their work. And the results met our expectation in every way. The rooms they painted look great with super clean cut ins on the ceilings (the rooms were two-tone with different colors on the walls and ceilings). I recently had the pleasure of using Double Barrel Painting for some exterior and interior painting on a commercial building I manage. I found the quote to be completed in a timely manner and I was able to get the approval quickly based upon how detailed the quote was. Not only did Tim break out the total bill but they also were able to itemize each suite so I could choose to do the entire project at once or do a little at a time. His team did an excellent job prepping our surfaces so the paint took very well and I have had lots of positive comments about the paint used. Originally I was going to use a flat paint for exteriror work but Tim suggested the use of a satin base to get better wear and tear outside. His team was prompt and professional. The suggestions made made for an excellent product. The crew was always appreciative of the work. I was very impressed that his team took the time to ask questions about what was to be done prior to doing it so that we did not have any issues with what the project was supposed to look like. They were able to leave extra paint on site so if I need to do touch up work I can do it. They also suggested excellent products for use on our metal roll up doors. He communicated very well on the project so I was able to keep the owners informed of the status of jobs.
