I highly recommend avoiding the use of Dose Moving & Storage, at least from the movers aspect. I was given a verbal quoye over the phone of $500 over the phone, but charged over $1000 at time of payment, not having a clue of where charges were at that time or what had changed. They later took me to small claims court, but never once tried to contact me about final payment. They originally arrived 45 minutes late, but charged me the full hour they rounded up. I was charged dow time for delays created by mu storage company that were beyond my control. They also charged me for the time their guys stopped and grabbed food, in which I still best them to the final location and left 40 minutes after they did. I was mislead, taken advantage of having back surgery coming up in 3 weeks, and then treated rudely and lied to by their staff and owners. Do not become their next victim. read more

I must say Dose Moving is probably the best moving service I have ever used! Branden, Jasper and Basilio were excellent and extremely considerate of our household items. Here's the kicker...I told them we were on a very limited budget (retired) and they had 2 hours to get items on the truck and 2 hours to offload at the new residence. We had everything boxed up in advance. These guys were RUNNING in this desert heat!! I told them to slow down but they said they were ok! Not only did they do as requested, they moved all our furniture and boxes in 2.5 hours!!! And nothing was broken except a little piece of wood chipped off on the couch leg which we glued back on!!!!! IF YOU HAVE HIGH-END FURNITURE TO MOVE. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I used them initially and didn't have a problem, however, the second time was an absolute nightmare. They broke a 1800.00 mirror. When I called the office I was told to fill out the paperwork. When I asked how they were going to repair the mirror I was told I'd had to file a claim. That was a joke. Never at any time did they verbally disclose that I had to pay extra to get my items properly covered. I was told after the fact that I was sent an email which went into my junk mail. So now after several weeks of going back and forth with this company I was issued a 60.00 check to repair a mirror. Their employee had no regard what so ever for my furniture. They received full payment for there services however I'm out 1800.00 for a mirror that I'll have to pay to fix. read more

I have moved many times in my life and when I did a year ago it was a very bad experience. The movers were late, slow and took twice as long as they should have. Today I moved using Dose Moving and storage. I picked them because of their high ratings and I know why they have them. They deserve every star giving! This was a move from hell to be honest. Not one part of this move was smooth. We had used this company multiple times in the past and the office manager quoted us a price on phone that was not honored day of move. The move took 11 hours?! The owners had zero interest in our concerns. Their truck broke down and the owner had to come out to assist and still didn't even have the respect or customer service to speak to us about concerns when he was at our property and in fact, when they fixed the truck, they just left without saying a word ha! Both my husband and I are business owners and cannot imagine treating our clients the way we were treated. I always say, a business can be evaluated best when you have an issue, not when things are smooth. I wish I would have done what I normally do which is look at how the business responds to negative reviews. Are they understanding and respectful when their customer has a concern or are they defensive and unhelpful? I could have saved myself this experience so I encourage others reading this review to do take that step. You then know if a company will be there for you if an issue arises. I would highly suggest going with Just in Time Movers. I had a five star experience with them...night and day from this move with Dose. read more

Used Dose moving a week ago, my first time ever using one. They waisted no time getting to work wrapping and packing up everything I had ready for them. New house had 2nd floor with a tight bend in the staircase which made it difficult to maneuver heavy objects up. The guys did a great job not making a single mark anywhere. We used Dose Moving & Storage for our move this past weekend and were so impressed. We had a change in plans and they were able to book a move for us with only 5 days notice. We had crew leader Rickey and crew member Isaiah, who were absolute delights :) They were incredibly efficient in packing our furniture and were legit running to and from the truck in an effort to minimize our time. Wow!! Marilee Dose is the worst owner/manager I've ever dealt with in my entire life and I'm a manager myself of almost 20 years now so I'm pretty experienced in customer service. She was extremely rude/mean and unprofessional and was calling me names over the phone. I would avoid this company like the plague. I explained over the phone I was never even given anything to actually review after the move was completed, one of the guy's just handed me a tablet to sign without showing me anything, I was given/shown no information at all. She started yelling at me over the phone and talking all sorts of crap when I brought this up. They damaged over $7000 worth of furniture which includes a new $3000 Kitchen aid fridge right in front of my eyes, our newer leather sectional couch $3400 (Huge 16-18 inch rip up the back and several scuffs) and a nice mirror. The movers themselves besides the damage were nice and pretty cool guys!! The end result was they offered me a check for $216.00 which is ridiculous. Dose moved my husband and I into our Phoenix apartment after a 1700 mile move from Illinois. They finished with a previous job early, so they called to see if they could come to our place early. We just needed to exchange some pics of furniture between two houses so only needed the 2 hour minimum. Victor, Luis, and Bismarck were on time, efficient and handled the furniture with great care. They wrapped each piece with a pad and taped it around the entire piece. Their truck was clean and they secured each piece for the short move. We've had Dose move us twice in the past year and while I don't plan on moving again anytime soon, I would definitely use them again in the future and plan to recommend Dose to all of my friends in need of moving services. We had a team of 4 and they cleared out our large apartment with A LOT of boxes and loaded them into the truck in about an hour. Then it took about 2 hours for them to dismantle, wrap and load all of the furniture. They got to the house quickly and immediately started unloading. The entire process to unload the truck into our 4-bedroom house, put together the furniture and put some things in storage took about an hour. The price is incredibly reasonable for the high quality of service that we received. We liked our team better this time around, but the first team was great too. This time we had Nick (foreman), Mynor, Luis and Jose. They were all very personable and didn't mind our very talkative daughter asking what they were doing every 2 seconds. These guys are amazing! We used them in our last move- friendly, honest and extremely hard working. They moved our 2 bedroom apmt----and we have a tooonnnnn of crap- including a very heavy solid wood bunk bed. They were quick and efficient and very careful. Since using them I have recommended them to multiple friends that were moving. They also have a yelp coupon- mention it when scheduling time and they will honor it without having to purchase through yelp- this saves you hassle of placing a credit card on file and allows them not to lose money. read more

I had called around & received quotes from at least 4 other well rated moving companies I had found on Yelp, but the coordinator at Dose quoted me the lowest rate and gave me the most straightforward explanation of service (3 guys, 2 truckloads, gas included and a $100 deposit that would be applied to the total cost afterward) , so decided to book with them. On the actual day of the move, 4 guys showed up 40 minutes early and proved to be extremely polite, helpful, honest, careful and efficient. Halfway through the load, the owner showed up with another trailer and helped with the rest of the move to get it done more quickly (no additional charge). Not only were they amazing and true to their price, but they did everything with a smile and on a 115 degree day! After the move, the owner even provided us with some advice for future move strategies. This practice is against Yelp's terms of use & privacy policy, and needs to be reported. I also want to clarify that Dose Moving never mentioned in their quote that this would be a 4-person move for my 2-bedroom apartment (several Dose Moving reviews on Google actually mention 3 movers). About "We do not charge more for people moving into The Stetson in Scottsdale", the owner Marilee did acknowledge to me over the phone that they *do* charge different rates depending on the building (claiming different distances from the parking lot). Soo once again Marilee and Patrick save the day! I have written a review once before but they deserve a second after they helped me with my last move!! I called in a panic to get moved out of my apartment after a nightmare roommate situation! I called with less than a 24 hours notice and they came and conquered! They packed all my things up and came early! If your a procrastinator like I am.. On the day of your move don't be! They always come on time or early which is unheard of when it comes to movers from past experiences! They moved all of my things into a storage shed and were very good at putting it all in perfectly to fit like a puzzle piece!!! Then, when it came time to move my things to my apartment they once again saved the day! I had a little situation with my complex the day of move in and had to switch units. They were running short on time because of a move after mine, but long story short Patrick and Marilee saved the day and helped move the rest of the stuff into a different unit after that move and got it all done in the same day!!! #1 on Yelp? Are they writing their own reviews? They all wear go pros and film you, your family, your friends, your private personal property. They never tell you they are doing this until they need you to sign a release.... for the insurance company to pay for repairs to things they damaged in the move. The owner of the company, who does not identify himself as such, was condescending, to us as well as to his employees, argumentative, sexist and completely unwilling to honor the move logistics that we had carefully planned with his front desk.... which turned out to be his wife. After the move the wife offered to repair everything that was damaged and to refund us the amount we had been overcharged (I paid them $2,039 + $210 in tips). That was over 4 months ago and we haven't received a refund nor have any repairs been made. On a positive note, if it's possible for you schedule your move with the actual workers (don't have the owner present) they were hard working, kind, polite, respectful and seemed apologetic and embarrassed for their bosses behavior. read more
