They haven't started selling elasticated waist jeans yet but we're definitely talking smart jeans, slacks, shirts, blouses, jumpers, jackets and accessories. Some look quite nice, others look like they were ordered through a catalogue. I wouldn't shop here myself but having seen the kids clothing, I'd be tempted to pop in when I'm looking for presents for my friends and relatives' nippers.

Refreshingly, they stock sizes 8 to 18 and their niche seems to be classic dresses, skirts, trousers, shirts, blouses, jumpers and dresses made from beautiful and ethical materials. Turning it into a one-stop destination for shoppers in a hurry, they also sell shoes, bags and accessories. Designers include Beyond Skin, Sam Ubhi, Ally Capellino, Best Behavior, Hartford, Anna Nygards and Anouk. If you see something you like and it doesn't quite fit, they also provide alterations and styling advice. If they could make me a size smaller, I'd buy my whole wardrobe from there!

These prices were quite reasonable, but the selection was small, and not as stylish (especially the 70% off items.) I did see some comfy-looking pyjama bottoms though. Accessories were plentiful, and included a full wall of scarves, necklaces, earrings and rings that managed to be bright and colourful without being tacky. Gift ideas were also available, and at large discounts, including mugs, hot water bottle covers, hats, and small jewellery boxes. So, I've decided I'm going to save up a bit and return. One nice sweater is probably better than two cheaper ones I don't like all that much.

My main issue with the store was the checkout area, which I found to be a little strange, with staff slow to dealing with customers and they just seemed to feel and look disinterested, there also wasn't a staff member visible on the shop-floor to help customers, which also delayed the customer experience and is an example of this. Potential to be one of the better Footasylum branches in terms of the look and feel of the store, but the potential to be one of the worst in terms of service. 2.5 - but more deserving of a two-star rating

This is a mens fashion clothing shop, located in the Arndale Centre in Eastbourne. For a smallish shop, they stock a decent range of clothes with a good choice of both smart and casual wear. My fella particularly likes thier jeans - he finds the cut, fit and price perfect! They also do a nice line in reasonably priced t-shirts. As well as clothing they stock a limited range of foot wear and men's accessories. The prices are very reasonable on the whole and their sales are well worth having a nose at , as the clothes are usually greatly reduced, adding to their attraction!

There's a host of more conventional clothing as well, such as shirts and the like and the quality of products is pretty good. I was surprised to see clothing that seemed (on first glance) to be designed for Prince Charles that actually looked trendy. The small store packs plenty in too, so you don't just end up looking at one trendy cap, but a plethora of different styles and designs. The major stumbling block for me however, was the price... While I can imagine spending a lot of money on a really good Jacket, I'm not sure I'd spend 200 or so £££ on one. But if you're looking for something thats going to last you a long time and look cool while its doing it, its certainly worth casting your eye across their website, and maybe popping even into the store to have a look in person.

Aston Bourne couldn't fulfill an online order and it took me THREE emails and TWO phone calls to…read morethem over 11 days to find out the item was not even in stock, though was at time of purchase and now also discontinued too, spoiling my chance of purchasing elsewhere at a competitive price, had I known sooner. Not a very satisfactory online shopping experience for me and most likely wont use them again, largely due to the lackadaisical communication. I think I would still be waiting to hear something had I not contacted them .
