They offer guests what they call a "Halbpension", by which they mean full breakfast and dinner, but also serve a light lunch composed of salad and soup, as well as an afternoon cake. That's Vollpension to me for sure. The food is overall very good and they make a special event out of every dinner, with a wide buffet of entries, a soup course, a main course and a desert. For the main course you always get to choose between the fish of the day, vegetarian, a gourmet version of a local recipe or something more traditional. The restaurant is only for guests, so one can't just pop in for dinner. The service is very attentive and friendly, in line with the outstanding overall quality of the hotel.

There is also a large variety of what you can do: several pools, sauna, fitness and spa! Having said that, I feel that the Therme lacks client focus. It tries to please everyone and so no one is completely pleased. It's not really suitable for children, yet they advertise to families (strollers in the pool area are not very hygienic in my opinion) They have a hotel, yet they allow a ton of day-guests in. They have restaurants with a large variety of offers but the staff seems overwhelmed and the food is average. They are in the wellness business, yet their bar is smoking. What was particularly disappointing was that we paid for two nights (which is the minimum stay) and yet we were not allowed to use the pools etc on the day we checked out unless we paid extra. The night costs €130 per person, so it is kind of ridiculous not to be able to use the facilities the day of check-out! Further, because they let in so many day guests on the weekend, there were not enough loungers for everyone. Again, for €130 a night, you expect to be able to lay down somewhere by the pool. For a couples weekend or a spa weekend for a group of girls who want to relax, I recommend the Loisium over Bad Blumau.

Stayed overnight and enjoyed the different pools and sauna areas. Diverse mix of saunas and large outside area. Best was certaibly the Vulcania Ort, a pool with thermal water at 37 celsius where its heavenly to relax and float around. Floating sticks are provided. Especially at night it becomes beautiful as bonfires are set up outside the pool. Reserve a bed if you want to get really comfortable or make sure to come early to have lounge chairs at your disposal all day. Evening time is susprisingly quiet in the different pools. Food-wise I didnt experience anything great here; buffet dinner was very average, if you opt to stay here, try te a la carte restaurant. Breakfast was better, almost sumptuous and of course with good austrian bread and a large range of meats, cheese, home made honey and jam. And it is available until noon.
