    Calzone pizza

Tried Doppio Zero for lunch on a Wednesday. We were a party of 5 and they got us immediately seated. We ordered Calzone and Salmone Griglia. They were really good. But the vegetarian dish with Eggplant wasn't as great. Last time I had their vegetarian Ravioli and that by far is the best choice out of all their vegetarian dishes. The service was quick too. Food was served within few minutes of placing the order. The place also looked very kid friendly and had high chairs.

A delicious meal in a beautiful setting. I visited on a Tuesday evening, and it was surprisingly busy. Since it was a weekday, I didn't think there'd be quite so many people, so I'm glad I made a reservation ahead of time. The atmosphere was inviting, with warm lighting and minimalistic decor. There was a pleasant chatter from the customers. My experience was overwhelmingly positive, but I will note the service was extremely slow. It took us probably 20 minutes to flag down a waiter, order, and get water. There was free bread, but we didn't get it until after our meal arrived, which was interesting. I don't think (or I'm hoping) this was an anomaly. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelmingly so. The food was superb. I've been to the MV location and really enjoyed the dishes I ordered, so I knew this would be a memorable meal. I highly recommend the Marechiaro, a squid ink pasta in a spicy tomato sauce with plentiful seafood. The sauce is so fragrant, and I love how the pasta has a bit of a bite to it. The noodles were perfectly al dente. The fettuccine wild boar was another standout dish. The braised boar was extremely tender and melted in my mouth. The housemade noodles were once again nicely al dente. I really enjoyed the Doppio Zero pizza. The freshness of the arugula contrasted against the creaminess of the burrata and the saltiness of the prosciutto. I did notice there wasn't much prosciutto on the pizza - a couple extra pieces would have enhanced the dish! The dessert was good but honestly a skip. The tiramisu and limoncello cake were fine but a pricey penny for a small portion. There are particular dishes I love at Doppio Zero (specifically the Marechiaro). This is a nice spot for a special occasion!

For whatever reason, Cambell location doesn't seem as busy as other locations. So we were tad bit skeptical, wondering if there is difference in food quality. Happy to say - nope. It is great. Servers are friendly. Setup is spacious enough. Only thing is they have smaller tables for three, which are actually only for two. So adjusting plates once food came was a circus. Next time, I will ask for a proper 4 people table. Pizza was really good. Gnochi was tasty too. Paired it with Italian Barbera. Out of whim, ordered truffle fries. They were think, crispy and delicious.

Went on a weekday for dinner. The place was pretty busy. The place has a good layout and the bar is nicely set up. Service was good and quick. They gave complimentary bread with a plate of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The wood fire stone pizza oven is impressive. We ordered one white porchetta pizza and one red carnivore pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The meat pizza was good and flavorful. The pizza crust is not soggy in the center but is weak since the pizza crust is thin. It had a crispy and little chew for the crust. The white pizza was ok other than the issue that the porchetta was very dry. Dipping it in the olive oil balsamic vinegar helped. For a pizza over $20 I expect the pizza to be on point. The place is priced on the high side so this isn't a place I would go to regularly but I would come back and try something else on the menu.

We were there on a weekend for my daughter's birthday , 6 of us . We got lucky but parking was difficult , crowded due to other businesses on the block. The restaraunt was full, we had reservations , did not have to wait. We had drinks and dinner. I ordered their eggplant parmesan it was just ok, my husband had the gnocchi and enjoyed his, others had pasta dishes, the pizza looked really good. If I go again I will order pizza. Service was excellent, the place was packed, high energy and high noise levels.

Was here for a work dinner and really loved how attentive the staff was to our party of 20+! This was a Friday evening, so although the restaurant was busy, we were very well taken care of. The spinich ravioli was so yummy and creamy. At first glance, the serving seemed a bit small but it was very filling and left me stuffed! The cocktail was very strong, but very yummy. Love how the pea flower goes from blue to pink upon mixing with acid (lemon). I really enjoyed the modern feel to this restaurant and will be returning on my own soon!

Popped in for a walk in table on a Friday night. Was able to get an outdoor table. Beet Appetizer great! 5/5 Cocktails Fancy York and Espresso Martini meh ~ 3/5 next time will do a wine Pera Pizza ok 3.5/5 but their other better options. Last time got a fig pizza that was amazing Seafood couscous dish loved it 5/5 Service was not bad but not good. Server was a bit his and more of an order taker than experience manager. First time there our server was amazing. Guided through menu with recommendation with pros and cons etc.... So this guy wasn't bad but wasn't what we got last time. Ambiance is a nice spot in downtown Campbell Def be back to try other dishes and likely during weekday for more attentive service

I love neapolitan-style pizza and the Doppio Zero pizza is delicious - burrata and prosciutto can never go wrong. The potato croquettes were really good and had a truffle sauce.

Came here for a dinner and had a lovely time! Servers were nice, attentive and everyone was festive for the holidays which was nice. The espresso martini is great. It's strong coffee-wise and still a little sweet. The salsiccia (3.5/5) was good as well and was even better with their chili oil! Will for sure come back and try their other pizzas and appetizers :)

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday. The place was crowded, but we had a reservation and were seated quickly. The food was delicious. We started with the prosciutto and burrata and the artichoke appetizer. Both were fabulous. For entrees, we had the vegan ravioli and the short rib risotto special. Our cocktails were great, and our server gave excellent recommendations for both drinks and entrees. The risotto was phenomenal. We didn't have room for dessert, but we'll definitely be back to try it.

The wife and I stopped here for dinner on Halloween. The place was packed so we decided to sit at the bar. I prefer sitting at the bar anyway as it's easier to speak to the bartender and get recommendations for cocktails. We split a pizza and the short tib pasta. Both were very good. But the real reason for the outstanding review was the bartender, Jesus. He was very friendly and personable and made the evening memorable. We will definitely be back.

Asked for a booth, and even though booths were available, we were seated in the bar area. No biggie. Unfortunately, as soon as we sat down and ordered our food, I got hit with an unbearable migraine. So we ended up having to ask our waiter to pack our food up to go. He was very friendly and accommodating. The hubby managed to squeeze in a cocktail and said it was great. So I look forward to coming back for their drinks. Once home, I did get to try a slice of their bufalina pizza, and it was outstanding. Airy and delicious dough, yummy sauce, and super tasty buffalo mozzarella; I highly recommend it. We also got the spaghetti pescatore, and it was decent. The seafood and pasta were perfectly cooked, but the sauce was just ok.

To be honest, when I opened the menu, I thought the price was a bit on the high side, and didn't expect to like it in the "worth it" scale. But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. The carbonara was amazing--served super hot with great flavor and a solid amount of meat. Easily a 10/10. One tip though: eat it while it's hot, because once it cools down, it's not quite the same. The seafood pasta was also a standout. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and it felt surprisingly light for a pasta dish. You know how pasta can sometimes feel heavy? This didn't have that at all. Another 10/10. The pesto pasta (a special that day) was just okay for me. It leaned a bit too oily, and the pesto flavor didn't really come through. They added ricotta, which kind of overpowered everything else. I did like the portion and the amount of meat, but overall I'd give it a 7/10. The ambiance was decent--nothing too special, but clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. It felt like a family-run place--three brothers along with their wives and kids--and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even helped accommodate my mom by seating us closer to the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Just a heads up: it's in downtown Los Gatos, so parking can be a bit tricky since there's no private lot. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place. I like the pasta noodle and the combination - which had chicken, mushrooms. I don't go out of my way for Italian food but I'm so glad I found this place! Definitely will be back to try different dishes.

Came back here today for Mother's Day brunch. It's been about 2 years since I've dined here and…read moreboth my husband and I agreed this place still satisfies. They've raided the bubbles and brunch prices $10 since we were last here and truthfully that's not so bad considering how much everything else has gone up with inflation. We both definitely felt we got our moneys worth in caviar alone. And an addition they've added since we last dined here were crab legs. I used to comment that the one item I felt missing were crabs. The porchetta and beef Wellington still slaps. Very tasty. I finally tried the filet today with some chimichurri and it was tasty. Their oysters and shrimp were super fresh. The person shucking the oysters was working non stop. We appreciate the variety here. Much better quality than those popular Vegas buffets. Shout out to our server, Kimberly, who was also on point. Extremely kind, quick and courteous. Several years later and this place still hits it for us. I'm actually raising my original rating from 4 to 5 stars.

This was my second time here. And I'll just say my first impression brought me back, however this…read moredoes not seem to measure up to my memory. 1. No more beef bone broth when you come in. it was chicken bone broth BUT it was Amazing! The mushroom broth landed flat. 2. The dining room was much brighter than I recall. We ate in the bar at a high top. So for a steak house I just naturally gravitate towards a darker moody vibe. Not this place. 3. Ordered the Brazilian bombshell cocktail. Presented beautiful. Tastes good too. Had a harsh unexpected bitter. I did not want to finish the drink. 4. They provided a light complimentary veggies on ice with a dip. Tasted like butter but mixed with flavor (very unique). I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was but it was tasty. 5. Ate the delicious Burrata Pugliese. This comes with a fresh baked bread. This is a BIG Yes!! 5. My husband ordered whisky on a rock. Took way too long to deliver especially because the bar was not full and we sat right next to it. 6. Yam stones. The yam taste was super light. Nice crispy exterior and super light and fluffy inside, sitting on top of a light creamy sauce. I did not like this at all. These were so sticky to cut with a knife and fork. They use a mochi like dough so they are like eating mochi. Super chewy. Super sticky. I at 1/2 of one and chewed far too long. Didn't taste natural to me. Sent it back. However I saw lots of orders being delivered. 7. Charred cauliflower- this was very delicious. A flavorful compliment to the steak. Al dente just cooked enough to not mushy. Raisins are on top. Added a nice sweet. 8. Filet Mignon. Cooked to perfection. Great flavor. And topped with a seasoned butter. Excellent. So glad. It's a steak house, they got this right.
