Just got some awesome carpet from Doolittle's for our master bedroom a couple weeks ago. I won't go anywhere else.

I have to agree with Daren D: they suck. We walked in to carpet shop, flipped through floor…read moresamples for about thirty minutes and were not even acknowledged by the two men working there. If you can't even say, "howdy do" when a customer walks in you obviously don't want business.

Prepare for a long review.. My experience was terrible from…read morethe beginning. I had told the salesman I would like to see a certain sample and he said he had already loaned it out but would get back to me. I had narrowed my selection down to 2 pieces. In the interest of timing (I had just moved into my house and was living in a back room to keep the bedroom getting carpet empty) I just forgot about the other sample and ordered some. I paid my down payment and then heard nothing. Finally I called and asked about it and was told they'd schedule me. They eventually installed the carpet. The installers did a great job except there was a line in the carpet from one end of the room to the other. I contacted the salesman and he said "some carpets don't seam well but we'll get someone out to look at it". This is something I would have appreciated a salesman tell me before I had carpet installed.. he gave me a date and time. I stayed home and waited, nobody showed. This happened several times, meanwhile I'm still receiving a bill for the monies owed. I had finally had enough and posted a review here on yelp. I got a call immediately the next day asking if they could remedy the problem so I would take down my review. The installer and salesman showed up promptly and decided that the line in the carpet was from where the carpet was rolled up. You would think a correct installation would include removing a line from wall to wall, and I still think it was the seaming but I digress. They offered to "steam" the line out, which again, should have been done on install day and I'm over it at this point. We're talking May 5th this all began and it's now October or so. In November I get a "Notice to Cure" in the mail threatening to send me to collections if I don't pay the remaining balance by December 2nd. In my opinion it took them 5 months to even come look at my issue, I have 5 months from the day they finally showed up to give them the rest of the money. In summary, the customer service is terrible and then they try to send you to collections at the end without remorse for their horrible handling of the situation. The letter was signed by an owner. Where was he while his employees were running a customer away? He just showed up for the $$
