Our window however while it faced the water was positioned so you needed to stand on tippy toe to see out it. It is an older establishment but was quite comfortable. If you are limber enough you may get a room like ours on the upper floor. Elevator is small and takes a bit of time to get. Dinner was in the hotel's dining room - Bianconi Restaurant. After dinner we were treated to an Irish Coffee demo. That was informative and delicious. I had hesitated to get one when they were being made but caved when I tasted SO's. Centrally located, historic quaint. Enjoy while in Waterford.

The bathroom was grand, I'd a lovely bath here before going to bed. Instant hot water that filled the bath in no time at all, lush. Having no bath at home, this was a real luxury to me. The bar staff make a lovely Sex on the Beach I must say :) The breakfast the next morning was quite good, I wish I wasn't so tender so I could eat more. The toast the highlight for me. I don't know what it is about baskets of toast that you get at hotel breakfasts, nom nom! I would recommend the Tower and I would definitely stay here again.

Portion a little small, but was expecting a sandwich, so the sit down meal was a lovely bonus. A really nice touch was the complimentary goodies in the toilets. Gum, lollipops and small packs of lovehearts. How wonderful. Staff were very pleasant and nice to deal with. We didn't stay, but from all accounts it's a pleasant experience.

Very old fashioned room, old furniture, not very clean and thin walls. At night it was noisy, our room was above the entrance of the parking and also a lot of noise coming from the hallway. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were pretty large. They're relatively plain in decor I think for a boutique hotel, but beds were comfy and the shower was great! We didn't need a big meal, but if we had, the restaurant had a very reasonable 3 course dinner offer which we would definitely have taken advantage of. Again, from a peek round the door, the restaurant looks like a nice place to go whether you're in residence or not. Our deal didn't include breakfast, although it is available. We chose to go to Waterford centre instead, knowing it'd be a bit cheaper there. Definitely would recommend this hotel- especially for the room price.
