My neighbors tried to flag the driver, but were ignored. Then began 46 hours of trying to get them to come back. The questions from Service Reps: "What kind of material is your can made of?" I had to buy this thing from their company...don't they know what it is made of? "Was your trash in bags?" "How much does your can weigh?" "Do you know what kind of material your can is made of?" Then statements: "You know you have to put the can out at a certain time." "We can't pick up just any kind of container." All the time, I was expecting someone to say to me: "We will take care of that for you." I did ask repeatedly to speak to a Supervisor. One did finally call me 44 hours after my initial request. This same thing happened to me in 2023. The difference was that Customer Service Reps were polite, didn't ask all the above kinds of questions, and quickly told me a window where I could expect a pick-up. I made 8 calls beginning at 3:30 PM on 05/01. The trash was picked up 46 hours after the initial call and visit. I am extremely irritated, and don't care for this company's customer service at all. Would have rated a zero, but that is not possible.
