I was first requested to have a mandatory paid initial consultation session to go over my legal help needed. I was introduced to Julie S. during this session. After describing my specific case & needs, she informed me that Geller Law can handle my case. What followed was months of emotional stress & redundant conversations with the staff of this firm that yielded no results. It became clear to me that they didn't know how to legally handle my case. Some staff members were argumentative & appeared trying to take advantage of this emotional situation for me. There were redundant conversations that I was later billed for. I concluded that this firm is not the choice that can handle my case professionally. I terminated my work with them. This was just downright rude. My impression of Mike is the same as Diane M. who wrote 2 years ago. I found Mike to be condescending and rude working with him on my mother's behalf. To my mom he gave the royal treatment and she ate it up. But to me he was borderline nasty. When we had to redo a deed of trust when my brother was dying a few years ago, he made sure to let me know what an inconvenience this was for him. I was floored by his behaviour. I would not have gone back to him again to discuss changes to my mom's will and POA, but it is hard to find an elder care attorney. I would warn anyone considering using his services - he may seem nice, but that has not been my experience.

Initial cost was $5000 - which had to be paid out of pocket, up front, and probably was a red flag we ignored. Got hit with another $2000 court fee that I don't remember hearing about, for a total cost of $7000 to file the 6-8 documents that the court required. At nearly $1000 per page of information - which we had to already provide, seems a steep cost for their efforts. Not only was this was a lengthy (over 18 month) and expensive endeavor dealing with the additional legal issues was very draining.

We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this firm for will and trust creation. But there's a warning.
