This was literally the experience of a lifetime! I called and the owner allowed me to come out and meet all the animals one on one and I cannot tell you how excited I was. This experience was something I will never forget. This is the only place I ever went to and was able to walk freely and let and play with the animals. Waldo, Pippin, Joey, Albert and Omar that's just a few of my favorites that I was able to love on. If you love animals this is a MUST for you to visit. The owner was super friendly and had one of his employees take me all around the farm and she was so friendly and talked to me like she's known me for years. They claim it's about love for the donkeys. But it's all about the money. He claimed to be our friend we we like family, he said. He offered to keep my donkeys and take care of them when my husband was experiencing health problems. Their still yours go visit anytime. But after 3 days and I saw how his employees cared for my donkeys, I asked if it would make him mad, I wanted to bring my donkey's back home. He went to a causing fit. Said he would crush my husband. Told me we were not to sit foot on his property. We had helped him for two years. Even while he was in federal prison.No pay not expecting any. For us it was because we were friends and for the love of animals. All the community thinks he is a crook, doesn't pay his bills, they don't trust him. Now I realize my neighbors are right.
