This is a wonderful sanctuary and worth a visit if you are traveling through Donegal. The husband and wife team take in abandoned and abused donkeys and relocate where possible. Many people bought donkeys for pets during the last economic boom and found them too costly or became bored and left them many times is squalid conditions or just released them. Hard to find but once here you will see the wonderful new life they have. Donations are welcome and needed but not required. read more
