BEWARE of AGENCY FEES - I moved my homeowner's & auto to…read more Waco Goosehead from the Dallas area. I paid both full yr policies with my credit card. Got 2 receipts: 1 for homeowner's and 1 for auto. When my credit card statement came, I was charged 2 more charges without my knowledge: $199. and $79. Went over there to local Goosehead office to ask what these 2 unauthorized charges were and was told they were the AGENCY'S FEES for moving my 2 policies locally. Agent said that we talked about those 2 charges when I came in to move policies! ! NO WAY...I said that I would have kept them in Dallas, if I had known about these 2 FEES. I told her that I had authorized 2 credit card charges and had left the Goosehead office May 20 with 2 receipts for the 2 insurance policies. If they really would have told me about the FEES, I would have left that day with 4 receipts. The 2 fees were both posted on my credit card on a different date! ! Goosehead agent would not offer any refunds, so I left Goosehead feeling like I had really been taken advantage of.

Wow! I was offered a quote by a son-in-law for home owners insurance. Before ending the call today,…read moreI explained to Herman. He identified acceptable my quote and recapped our quote from yesterday which was almost $1k more today. Herman said best I can do and stated " Go elsewhere if you like as you only hear what you wanted." I'm fired of you business. Ohh almost forgot but his office is a fire hazard and dirty dirty office. I have never seen any business or agency act in this matter Brit business of not. Waco Fire Department agrees about the terrible fire hazard. Again, he aggressively, came at me and belittled me in all in office. My quote needed $450 down and about $125 payments. Much hire than quote I agreed on yesterday's quote. Only reason I called back to resend updated policy. Now he redacted his offer. After agreeing to a fair offer he said nope it's $420 down and the only reason finished yesterday was that it was too close to closing time. I said,"no problem just email me the coverage letter. Now he offers nothing but a nasty business, Fire hazard, poor ethics, and just not a good person." Herman returned the phone this time said, " don't know what your issue is and poor business and if you walked in his office you would flee and run away as fast as an Olympics can run. RUN!

They were great. The nicest thing was the big chunk of money saved from the Farmers which we transferred from. 0 stars. Your excuse…read morewas "conflicting statements." My conclusion is you never intended to conduct a real investigation. My daughter was hit. The damage to her vehicle supports exactly what she reported. Your insured denied responsibility, and that was apparently all the evidence you needed. Case closed. So what exactly do you investigate? Because from where we're standing, it seems the process is simple: if your insured says, "It wasn't me," you call it conflicting information and deny the claim. Physical evidence? Ignored. Common sense? Ignored. Accountability? Nonexistent. Don't advertise fairness, integrity, or an unbiased claims process if the outcome is predetermined the moment your insured denies responsibility. This wasn't an investigation. It was a rubber-stamped denial dressed up as one. Not to mention the nearly month it took of back and forth trying to get anything resolved w/ this due to "conflicting information" which yet again means the parties do not agree to what happened so we will ignore the evidence (damage on car) and agree w/our insured. Then Keagle had the nerve to laugh when I explained to my husband that they were denying the claim and apparently this is the ins co we need to have as they ignore evidence and just side w/their insured. Way to go Home State.
