One of the quieter of the Dublin libraries, Donaghmede is located on the 1st floor of the Donaghmede Shopping Centre. it features all the normal perks of a modern library; fiction, non-fiction, children's, young adult and reference sections. It also features a specially designed children's reading area, 4 internet-accessible PC's, and a silent study area. Many different activities are held annually, from political meetings to children's events. Due to the proximity to the local national schools, the library runs several children-oriented activities during the summer in the silent study area, which doubles as an event room. these range from art classes to quizzes to author meetings. Free-access WiFi is also provided in the vicinity of the building. 4/5: a relatively compact, but fully equipped library that welcomes the studious but carries a select amount of books. read more
