Unlike most hostels I've stayed at the sheets are already put on my bed and they were clean. The building is newly renovated and everything is nice and new. They also have pay for internet (1 Pound for 20 minutes) and laundry facility's (4 Pounds for a load) One of the best features that I enjoyed while staying here was the fact that you can buy discount tickets for plays and attractions all throughout London at a discounted rate.

Also a gazillion other transit lines that let you visit most tourist places in London with one transfer or less. I stayed in a five dorm room with bunk beds and it was spacious, with an en suite bathroom, with an extra set of bathrooms in the hallway. Reasonably modern and clean. Each bunk had its own power outlet and small light and ledge, which was really nice, compared to other hostels Front desk reception was polite and efficient. The wifi worked pretty well, though only available on the ground floor bar and restaurant area and the 1st floor, where there is a lounge.

It was about £19 a night in the four bed female dorm. There's great storage under the bed, lockers with a safe and plugs at every bed. The en suite bathroom was a plus, as I had to get up early. The shower was a pain in the ass to work. The staff was amazing. As a previous hostel worker, I know they can make or break a place. Everyone was super friendly and they hung out in the TV lounge with everyone else. It's a nice little crew and very welcoming. The kitchen is stocked and open most of the day. Breakfast was toast, coffee and tea. But it's free. And there are plenty of places nearby to get something. Sainsbury's is on the corner, fast food sushi, pret, a pub and more. It's right on the Piccadilly line which now runs all night in weekends, very convenient!

The location is outstanding -- in the heart of Bloomsbury, down the street from Russell Square, five minutes from the British Museum and the University of London. It's relatively close to most of London touristic attractions (30 to 40min walking to Buckingham Palace), and less than 5min walking to underground stations (Padding Station) and bus stations (St Mary's Hospital). The only problem we had was that the WiFi was very weak in our room, but we didn't really care much since we were out all day exploring the city. Plus, at check out, I commented this to the staff and they said they were going to work on that right away. I'd definitely recommend it!

I will say the service was exceptional and the person who checked me in was standout, went above and beyond. However, that 24 hr laundry? Eh no. 1 washer and 1 dryer and a Que to use it. Bought on of the laundry soaps from the desk and it turned my white socks purple. I had a 4 person, female dorm and around 11:35pm, after being in my bed for over an hour, I started coughing probably because I was sweating, and couldn't sleep. My roommates kept the light on and kept chatting well after 11pm. It was awful. Ended up walking down the street to the Comfort Inn.

Everyone that stayed and worked at the hostel were so friendly and respectful to each other. The hostel also offered free dinner, guided day activities, and a group to go out at night with! It was very clean, very fun, and had a certain sense of community about it. I would recommend Onefam Waterloo to anyone visiting London!

Hey do have different buildings, and the amenities are only on the main building, so sometimes it a drag to have to walk there for breakfast and such, but the walk isn't too bad. It's located close to bars, restaurants, bus stations, and tourist attractions, so I would definitely stay here again. The staff was also very friendly.

There are refridgirator available to use and there are microwaves to heat up your food. The dinning room area is big and has picnic tables for guest to use. The hostel offers free wifi, the service from the workers there was good as well. I stayed in a shared co-ed room of 6 and i am used to this kind of place so I did not mind. I will say the place was very small for my luggage to stay with me in the room, I had to open up my luggage and take what I needed out and then put it back on top of the lockers.
