The employee/owner of the store was very friendly and helped us on several items we had questions with. Yes, he does speak english =) We were told by our hotel staff that beer steins can only be found out of town south from dusseldorf. They were wrong! We found them here in this shop. The best part was the packaging. He knew we were tourist and carefully packed our beer steins with bubble wrap and styrofoam. Check the photos. We were only in Germany for 2 days. If your only here for a few days, I suggest you stop by this shop to find some souvenirs to take back.

This was my first time in Germany and, being of German descent, wanted to head home with an heirloom. I bought a beautiful Christmas pyramid for 170 euro. The nice man at the counter offered to ship it to my home and told me to contact him if 1) I didn't receive it or if 2) if arrived damaged in any way. The pyramid arrived totally and completely smashed. The beautifully carved tree... smashed. The candles, votives, ornaments...smashed. I, as instructed, emailed the owner right away. I realize it was no fault of the store's that the item arrived damaged so I asked for help. No response. I emailed again HOPING to have a beautiful Christmas pyramid in time for Christmas. Again, no response. I emailed a third time. No response. The guy running this place is nice enough but he only wants your money and he won't hesitate to screw you. I spent a lot of money in his store and that was all he wanted. Buyer beware!!! This ruined my whole German experience and in the hole for over $200!!!!!! There are plenty of other well established stores selling the same souvenirs. Go anywhere but here. If the owner is reading this, you know how to contact me. CHECK YOUR EMAIL.
