A wonderfully retro Pizza Hut experience!…read more This is one of those "Pizza Hut Classic" locations specifically meant to recapture the feel of when Pizza Hut was such a beloved experience in the 1980's or 1990's. The decor looked like a time capsule from the 1980's, in a good way. The entire experience felt much like I remember Pizza Hut being when I was a kid. My server was very busy and overworked, but had a positive and friendly attitude and I can't fault her. . .she was doing the most she could with as over-worked as she was. The reasons it wasn't a five-star review (and these are all things they could fix) 1. They had an arcade machine at the front (which is a wonderful retro Pizza Hut touch). . .but it was broken! It would have been nice to play some arcade game at a Pizza Hut again. 2. When I walked in when the lunch buffet opened at 11 AM, they didn't have any pizzas out, because they apparently got started cooking them late. There was a line of people waiting to eat when the pizzas came out. 3. They were horribly under-staffed. A busy Pizza Hut with only two employees? One front-of-house and one back-of-house? The server said they were hiring in case anyone needed a job, but being under-staffed definitely harmed the experience.

We ordered a combo (half pepperoni / half Hawaiian) plus a Spicy Honey Pepperoni. The pizzas were fine -- nothing special or memorable, but they got the job done. The crust was standard, the toppings were what you'd expect, and the Spicy Honey Pepperoni had a very mild kick. Nothing to write home about, but everything was hot and fresh when we picked it up. We had plenty of pizza left over for everyone with full bellies. Good option if you just need to feed a crowd without breaking the bank. Would probably order again if we're in a pinch out in the area, but there are better local spots if you're craving something really good.

This building still stands strong after all these years. Recently this place has been a hit and a miss. I have no complaints about the staff or interior of the building. The food has been kind of a hit and a miss. I recently ordered their double slice pepperoni on 2 different occasions because yes I fell in love with the place again. One time they kind of over cooked the pizza but, it was still good another time the pizza seemed a little under cooked. I actually liked it better a little crispier. I kind of just pick the toppings off and ate them that way. One things for sure, the breadsticks here are absolutely the best!!! They have not changed the ingredients and taste the same from when I was a kid. I do like this Fazoli's but, I wish they would be consistent in the way they cook the pizza. Other than that I have no complaints. Also, they have a rewards app where you can get rewards as well.

You will find this food truck parked at Piña Fiesta Mexican Grill. Parking is tight, but worth the effort. The truck looks clean and well kept. You can tell pride matters here. The staff was friendly and polite. Ordering was simple and fast. I paid $13.25 for a pepperoni and bacon pizza with a Coke. Wait time was about 10 minutes. For hot, fresh food, that is fair. Now the pizza. The crust was crisp and buttery. The flavor stood out right away. Many brick and mortar pizza shops fail where this food truck succeeds. I am still unsure what makes this pizza Cuban, but whatever they are doing works. If you pass this place without stopping, you miss out. Now the honest critique. The outer half of the pizza was excellent. Great sauce. Strong flavor. Some of the best pizza I have had in Louisville. Then you reach the center. The middle was undercooked. Doughy. Near raw in the true center. Hard to finish. Fix the cook on the center, and this becomes the best pizza in the city. No question. This place already does most things right. With one fix, this truck moves from good to elite.
