We ordered a pizza through Thuizbezorgd. It was not our first order from them.
I have an onion allergy. I advised them of this in the comments field.
Moments after our pizza was delivered, while i was still eating my first slice, we got a call checking on the quality of our meal. I should have been afraid! I told them it was great because thus far it had been.
Then we hung up.
Then I took my first bite of the second slice. CRUNCH went the raw onions!
I have been having breathing difficulties for 3 days. When I tried to call them back (on the phone # they called me on!) to let them know about the mistake they denied selling us the pizza like a bad dog that won't make eye contact after it poops the floor.
Dominos explicitly refused to call us back.
We complained through Thuisbezorgd. This morning we got an e-mail from Thuisbezorgd that the pizza place we inexplicably denying that we had ever done business (despite Thuisbezorgd having processed the transaction). Thuisbezorgd at least is good and offered us an (unneeded) discount voucher for the future.
I wasn't planning to sue them.
I wasn't planning to demand any kind of compensation.
I wasn't even mad (though I am now.)
I just wanted to help them be safer regarding food allergies. They are not interested in being safer. Avoid this place.
