I don't typically make reviews, but this had to be said. The first time I came here was when I was 11. I had such a lovely experience shopping around the many stores that this mall had to offer that I decided to come again yesterday, five years later. I'm originally from California, so I don't get to come here that often. However, since my family and I were in Miami for vacation, I was so excited to be able to shop here again. Big mistake. This mall is wonderful in respect to the numerous stores here that they don't have in the local malls there are back home, but my experience was completely ruined when I was stopped by a lady at the Premier kiosk. I initially denied the sample she offered me and started walking away, but then she started walking toward me and asking me multiple questions. I don't like being rude, so I replied and she just put all these random products on my hand. She immediately put four products I didn't even ask for in a bag and told me the price, to which I was shocked. She kept lowering the price because I told her I didn't have enough money, and finally she gave me one of the products at its "original price" (which is still higher than what you can get it for online). She initially bumped up the price of the product $100, which I didn't figure out until later. It's saddening how she did this just because I'm a teenager and she thought I'd be an easy target. I bought the skincare product because through the demo it seemed to work, but I realized it doesn't actually. When I got back to the car to show my parents what I got, they were mad because I had spent so much money on a single product that didn't even work. I felt so bad because they work so incredibly hard to make money while I just blew it on this dumb item. It made me feel even worse because we're from a low-income family, so vacations and mall trips like these are rare. Not even 20 minutes later I went back in to return it, but they told me they don't do refunds (which they never told me when I first bought the products). It's honestly so sad how desperate these kiosks are to be so pushy and invasive and scam you out of your money. I'm still angered at what happened because I went online and saw that essentially all kiosks at malls around the country that sell this same product do the same thing they did to me. It's ridiculous. I hope Dolphin Mall can do something about these kiosks, because it is clear that nobody even likes them, as they scam you and take up space in such a busy mall. Please prevent others from having a terrible experience like I did. read more

I like this mall, almost as good as Sawgrass, tons of places to eat and mainly, they have Texas de Brazil, one of my favorite places to pig out on some steak. 2 Movie theaters: 1 regular AMC (i believe) and the CineBistro which is an experience of its own. Also, the Outdoor World is there. Seems like lots of outlet stores but the prices dont seem too "outlet" to me. read more

When top brands become cheap like dirt, then one cannot but question quality. Brazil steakhouse at the mall had a weird smell of the carpet. Cheesecake factory, yet again, had horrible service. Starbucks had no napkins. Bathrooms around the mall were disgusting. Never going there again even if they pay me to get the name brand products. Plus a major language barrier. read more

If ever I needed imagery to describe the term "hot mess" I would reference Dolphin Mall as the perfect example. First of all, the layout of the mall itself is ridiculous. Unlike Sawgrass Mall, where you can find a shortcut to the avenue that you're looking for, you need to aimlessly wander Dolphin Mall until after what seems like an eternity, you stumble upon the store that you are looking for. And this isn't a glorious stroll in the mall either. There is no space to walk. You're literally being crushed by families of 1200 all walking parallel to one another as they yell at their crying babies en espanol to "callate." You also have people dragging large luggage through the mall, people riding hoverboards through traffic, and teenagers trying to run between people walking to make it to their movie on time. And customer service at the majority of stores in this mall? If you don't speak Spanish, don't expect help. And even if you do speak Spanish, tearing these teens away from their Snapchat for five seconds to assist you with finding something in the store results in the death stare (with the exception of Bass Pro Shops. They're super helpful!) Shopping here is a total nightmare and I have yet to describe the catastrophe that is their parking lot. Holy mother of pearl, the parking situation is a warzone so come prepared for battle! It may take you up to 45 minutes to find a parking slot and you will realize quite quickly that there probably aren't enough parking slots available for a mall of this size. Eventually you'll resort to being that creep who stalks people coming out of stores, slowly rolling down your window and asking if you can follow them to their car. Definitely check it out to say that you survived Dolphin Mall, but I would not wish a Saturday afternoon here on my worst enemy. Two stars for the above and beyond service at Bass Pro. Other than that, avoid at all costs. read more

I used to love this mall until it became a tourist trap hell hole just like Sawgrass...No parking, luggages and people in your way everywhere. The only nice parts are still the outside parts, where Buffalo & Cheesecake are. I normally come late nights on weekends and it's not too bad, today I made the mistake of coming mid-afternoon on a Sunday. The elevator on one side of the parking garage didn't work, lovely....Plus, outlet pricing is pretty much the same as regular store pricing. This will be one of the malls I come to only if I absolutely need to or if I want to watch a movie at CineBistro. Next time I want to take a Sunday stroll around the mall I'll head to Dadeland. read more

I love this mall! If you love to shop, definitely pay this mall a visit when in Miami. Some of the locals may tell you it's far from South Beach but it's not! Especially if you're used to driving in Atlanta or any other large city. It took us about 15 minutes which isn't bad at all. This mall has great, popular retail stores with outlet prices. It's a big mall so be sure to wear comfortable shoes, don't wear cute heels trying to look cute and leave barely being able to walk (looks around in embarrassment lol). The mall itself is good. However, the valet company for this mall is a joke. Me and my boyfriend was visiting this mall for the first time. We are not from Miami or Florida which means we are not use to the area. We THOUGHT valet would take care of us. However, we were wrong! We had a car rental and gave the keys and everything to valet. Once we were done shopping we gave valet our ticket in order to get our keys. Valet lost our car keys and what makes it worse is they did not care they thought it was a joke the whole time. The guy that was sitting at the desk (tall skinny) was laughing the whole time. Also the on-site supervisor, Alberto did not care at all. He said it was not his problem because he had just came in for his shift. We literally spent about 5 hours waiting for them to find the key when they weren't. In reality, they kept assisting other people and forgot about us. Mind you, we are a hour away from our hotel and complete strangers to this state. They did not accommodate us AT ALL. The regional manager, Jose Montalbo did not care at all. The valet supervisor, Berney did not help or care at all. My advice is do not go to valet they will loose your things and end up not caring in the end. Lesson learned. El centro comercial en sí es bueno. Al gerente regional, José Montalbo, no le importó en absoluto. El supervisor de valet, Berney, no ayudó ni se preocupó en absoluto. This mall is so confusing! It's more of an outlet mall, with random stores like Marshalls and Ross thrown in. They need more stores like a Macy's, Dillard's, Zara, Sephora, nordstroms. I love this mall! The food, the service, the malls. It's all a great experience. SIDE NOTE: I've noticed many people have yelped saying " too loud , too many tourist " and " chongas with their hoop earrings and lip liner " ( you know who you are ) but I find it absurd that you can actually give Dolphin Mall a bad review because of the people. The mall has nothing to do with the people who decide to go there. Also, the mall is in fricking Miami, Florida. What did you expect? A quiet mall with nice elevator music playing throughout the mall? Miami is like a melting pot of nationalities and the biggest tourist attraction in the US yet you expect to not see tourists and people. Dolphin Mall has something for everyone. I particularly love Burlington Coat Factory, Ann Taylor, Loft, Guess, Aldo shoes, I could go on. They have a nice movie theater and good restaurants to choose from. It's always difficult to find parking around the main entrance of the mall, where the restaurants are. It's great for serious shoppers or people who just want to hang out. The best mall in the area in my opinion. read more

My goodness this mall is huge. When they first opened the stores sucked. Now they have tons of good stores especially for us guys. From Bass Pro, to Banana Republic they have some good spots where you can catch a good deal. The food court also has upgraded. Buffalo Wild Wings is a nice plays to catch a game and a beer. I know on weekends they have live music in the food court, which is cool. The only draw back to dolphin is that well it's kinda reffy. I am sorry I am hispanic and all but I can only take so many CONIO HACERE's in one day. I also get dizzy after 3 Ed Hardy shirts dyed white jeans sunglasses and rosaries all indoors in a damn mall. Today, on Black Friday my family and I decided to spend the afternoon welcoming the holiday season at Dolphin Mall. We were in the middle of the food court looking for a place to have dinner when a stampede of people came running out the mall screaming and in fear. We had to seek shelter under the tables at Charcoals everyone around me was panicking, children were crying and screaming. For a minute I thought I was living a nightmare. Then we carefully ran to the parking lot got inside our car and left . Police officers outside seemed oblivious to what was happening inside. Traffic was still coming inside the mall while I heard that there were people hurt inside. I don't know what kind of plan of action Dolphin Mall has in place for situations like this. One thing I can tell you is that on a festive day Dolphin Mall will not see me again. They have failed to provide a secure place for people to go. read more

This mall is awful in so many ways.... To start, the parking is ALWAYS packed! People drive like animals trying to get in and out. If you make it out of your car alive, don't think the people will be more courteous on foot. I do go here because it can get the job done when you need quick accessories or something from Forever 21 (it is enormous!), but I always have to mentally prepare before I get there. read more

You must bring your patience if you plan on going to this mall....Unfortunately, patience is not my fiance's strong point. The parking is horrendous! I literally sank into my car seat as my fiance argued back in forth in Spanish with two men over a parking space. Thankfully though, I had no idea what they were saying. A lot of great stores, a lot of places to eat (which is basically what everyone seems to be doing all of the time). However, I was unable to find dress shoes for my 2 year old? Wow how I hate this mall. Always crowded, always dark. The mall is like a maze. The shops are never friendly. The staff is always busy with who knows what but you have to wait to checkout while they are fluttering around. There are a ton of stores but finding them is an issue! Dont even try to go to this mall on the weekend, no spots and crazy amounts of people. Take the extra half hour and go to Sawgrass, Beautiful outside shops! I would not step foot in this mall if it wasn't for the fact that I am constantly being dragged in here for events. Dolphin Mall is the epicenter for chonga and chongo overload and its non stop! Literally this place is always pact every-single-day of the year. I would have given this place 1 star but since they have added some interesting food venues I have become slightly intrigued in what this mall can potentially become. Me and you, Dolphin Mall, have a love/hate relationship. I loved you when you first opened and hated you when the chongas and chulos made you your hot spot. Recently I'm starting to love you again with Michael Kors outlet, Polo outlet, BCBG outlet, Saks outlet & the recent openings of Love 21, Banana Republic, and the warehouse sized Forever 21. Let's not forget the opening of Bloomingdale's outlet. My own hatred for you now is your lack of reception in the mall. At first I was whatever with it but now it's out of control. Dolphin mall is the worst to say the least. Parking is always impossible you literally will get into a fight with people that are trying to take your spot even when they see you waiting with your indicater ON! Once you get in the mall it's huge and always packed. Everyone is always pushing to get by if not they are just standing around blocking the walk ways. Some stores are okay and since they are all outlets they have good prices but i'd save myself the time and hassel and just pay regular price at another mall. It was my first time at this mall. And it was during the week, at an odd hour of the day. It was still full of people. When I go shopping, I go when there are limited of people so I can shop peacefully. Since it was packed, I was unable to enjoy my time at dolphin mall, in essence preventing businesses from making revenue from a customer as I. It is a mixture of a crowd at this mall, however, the people are rude. New yorkers would not mush or bombard people in the stores. I come here for Dave n Busters, Cine bistro and every once in a while i will visit a few stores.. i mean don't get me wrong they have a lot of stores and many of them are outlets but its a huge commitment...For me its a bit of a drive, parking (omg!) is awful...especially on weekends..reminds me of the first week of the new semester at FIU...you have to be lucky or stalk people walking towards their cars and hope they know where they parked. The mall is pretty big and its one big circle, so if you keep walking you will eventually end up where you started. On the weekends its just too packed. Tourists come too, there are always buses i guess from the airport who bring a bunch of Latin Americans to shop for a couple hours. which i have no problem but there have been times i have stood in line for 15-20 minutes to buy a clothing item and realize i don't need that garment this bad and walk out. They have a couple nail salons... but the ones that smell really bad of chemicals, i guess if you still rock acrylics than your used to it. but i rather do my nails else where...they have a forever 21 store which is huge i think its bigger or at least the same size as the one in aventura, but their accessory store is in another store and not very close to the clothing store which can be annoying. They have neiman's outlet, blooming dales outlet, Ralph Lauren outlet, forever 21, Calvin Klein, Saks 5th ave outlet, banana, express, and much more. If you do plan on going, especially if its your first time just remember it will be a full day event. If you can try going on a week day. read more

Do not go to this mall on the weekend. It's like a little piece of hell in Miami. Too many inconsiderate people, too many strollers, and not enough good merchandise. I don't understand how they only have 1 starbucks there. Seriously, the mall is huge and you definitely need a coffee break when you are halfway through the mall and there isn't a place to sit down and relax and have coffee! Even the starbucks there is madness. I was so exhausted after 2 hours of being there that I didn't want to stay to check out the restaurants.
