This shows how old the pics are. I spoke to a manager via email and sent him pics of the filth. He responded a couple of times saying he will investigate then he never responded. I have never seen such a dirty hotel. I'm going to complain to Swansea council as its so dirty I think people will get ill from staying there.

The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation basically. Look at the pic of the carpets in our "suite" - worn, rucked up and trip hazard - really? Look at the dingy second room in our suite - not inviting at all We couldn't open the curtains to let light in because there were person or people working on the roof immediately outside at times throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep but the room/suite offered none of the expected comforts to tempt you to work, snuggle up or relax when you weren't sleeping. There are two elevators but they are very tiny - three people maximum and if you are a couple and have more than one suitcase (as we did) you will need to make two trips. Parking was adequate but it gets very tight (on the weekend night I had to go out and run "an errand" in the hopes of there being a slot for me when I got back (there was but only because I parked in the Tesla charging space... naughty boy). The road outside was under major construction during our visit making things extra difficult. Nothing in terms of inviting shops or restaurants close by unfortunately I wouldn't want to stay here again but it sufficed. Review # 59 2019

They have kept this place immaculate and continue to keep the place beautiful. They have a second building called The Georgian which is just as beautiful and nicely kept. The inside is designed with taste and attention to detail! Another great aspect to this place is the cleanliness! Everything is sanitized and kept in great condition. Our rooms were always serviced and had a great mattress. (Extra points for me in a any hotel) Great example of a well established and well kept business that deserves merit.

The hotel is a boutique style place with a minimalist type bar and restaurant. It has a small carpark right opposite , I'm not sure what you would do when the 30 or so spaces are taken as I didn't see an NCP or the like close by. The greeting was warm and a young fella helped me to my room as I was in the "lodge" jusr across the side street from the main hotel block. The room was very nice ( with a\c which was needed 31 degrees that day !) good sized full bathroom and flatscreen TV. Room was clean and I slept well. I cant tell you about breakfast as I skipped that but if its anything like the rest of the hotel im sure it would be good. I am back in Swansea in a few weeks and i shall book here again.

My parents stayed at Morgans in the first six months of it opening and they felt like royalty from the time they checked in, turn down service was unobtrusive and the room was beautiful. We had a fantastic meal on that occasion, so a real 5 star experience in total. Unfortunately on my own stay in Morgans last year(due to an emergency household disaster) and my parent's next stay, only 6 months ago that 5 star experience was not repeated. The rooms are in need of some care and attention and service has deteriorated, not to a low level but it no longer has that special feel about it. The food served in the restaurant has also deteriorated, nice but no longer special and breakfast was sadly lacking, my mother's scrambled egg was lukewarm and portions on the small side. I hope Morgans can regain it's original 5 star experience but from friends' experience too, my family is not the only one to see the deterioration.

Well having stayed here for 12 nights I can say that yes premier inns are "budget" priced but that…read moreis only if you book a loooong time in advance. However they do provide what you need clean and secure rooms with a restaurant/bar which does the trick. The hotel is part of a new development in the area, if I had a bug bear it was the fact that you have to pay to park everywhere in the 'Waterfront' area. This will definitely add to the cost of your stay at this Premier Inn. The rooms are not the biggest but can accommodate a family of four easily as the sofa bed folds out and there is part of the bed which also slides out if needed. Whilst I was here for business reasons it is very much a family hotel. I say this as most of the people I saw stay here over the period of time I was here were families. Their is a small Tesco's attached to the hotel which is handy if you run out of anything. Inside the bar area of the hotel is a chas machine which charges you for the privilage of getting your money out. Do Not Use It. The Tesco's has a free cash machine in its wall so use that instead. The staff at the hotel are the main reason why I have gone with 4 stars. Every single member of staff I interacted with were very helpful and personable. They were more than happy to share a joke whilst busy at work but always willing to help with any problem/issue you might have. The hotel only falls down slightly if you want to charge stuff to your room which I know is not the usual practice for the Premier Inn brand but it does make thigns easier if you can do this. They have the facility to do it however it somehow gets confused between the hotel reception and the bar. /resturant, however the reception staff were more than willing to go and explain it to the bar/resturant staff what should be happening. The only issue with my room was the fact that whilst i had a view of the water area it also backed over where Tesco's delivers coming in the morning and also where the hotel empty their bottles each morning/afternoon, so it can be a bit noisy at times if you are in the hotel for a reason other than sleeping. All in all if you need a hotel in the Swansea Waterfront area this is a good one. I know their is a Marriot in the harbour area which undoubtedly would see itself as better but if you want to keep control of how much you spend on your hotel accommodation then this is definitely the place. It is a ten minute stroll to the main strip if you are here for a 'lively time' then that is the place to go. there are several cafes and bars around the area which are well presented and relaxed if you want to have a meal by the water.

My wife and I hesitated to even come back at check in time. But we did and the young lady was gone and the two men were awesome checking us in. The other issue was parking. You're on your own. So we off and on parked via the private service that owns the lot throughout the two or three nights we were there. We thought we were good other than Miss Mood at check in. Yesterday (2+ weeks later), we got notice from the parking lot authority that we weren't parked between the lines in our spot. Mind you, no ticket on windshield or any notice on car in order to rectify. So being from another country 5,000 miles away we have zero recourse. There are no lines and nothing marked! Total scam.
