Our family visited Corpus in November 2020. We looked at all the dolphin tours online and found Dolphin Connection. Although we had to call for a quote, it was worth it! Great people run this and it was very personal. We went out with just our family and got to stay out till it stated getting dark. We saw amazing spots and the captain was full of useful interesting and comical information. He didn't act bored or unconcerned. You could see he truly LOVES his job! It made for a wonderful experience! We plan on visiting Corpus again soon and will definitely use Dolphin Connection again!

Sonia was a great guide. She had so much enthusiasm you couldn't help but smile the entire time. She went out of her way to accommodate us and our reservation. There wasn't as many dolphins as I wanted to see, but you can't make them magically appear. We were able to play with them and watch them do jumps and flips. I will do this tour again and hopefully we are able to go first thing in the morning when they are more active. I loved this experience! She even let us pick a couple of seashells at the end of the tour. Tip: the colorful boat next to her dock is not part of the business. Another person rents that houseboat. If you don't see Sonia's boat, she is still with another group. We also paid after the tour.

Husband and I booked this for our vacation. Absolutely amazing experience. The tour guide made us completely comfortable and it felt as though "family was driving us around" as my husband put it. She also didn't follow a set path but went wherever the dolphins popped up. Definitely a hidden treasure.

Overall this is a wonderful boat tour! It is a small boat so you were next to the water and the dolphins swim right up to the boat. I love seeing the dolphins in the wild and doing whatever they feel like doing. I did not see any lifejackets on the boat. The boat seats six, but there were only three of us that day so it was nice and roomy. You stay in the bay and the water was calm. Please note this boat tour ONLY accepts cash or checks! And be sure you have the updated address from their website, not yelp.

We had a slow day but the trip was fun and my daughter loved the water. Staff was great.

Drove out about 10 minutes from the dock and settle near a shrimp boat.

This was fantastic. We got lucky, as the captain proclaimed. The cranes came out to the open beach…read moreand a few of them even flew around for a while. And there were plenty of other birds, including Tri-colored herons and Reddish egrets. Not to mention ospreys and hawks galore. But the captain and the mate were what made it special. They were fun, funny, and incredibly informative. They also made sure we were comfortable and happy. They leant us nice binoculars and had a telescope they would focus on the far-away birds and let us look into. In short, they really cared. They were as nutty about birds as their customers, which is what you want and need for an experience like this. The captain was an aviary scholar who happened to captain a tour boat. Perfect.

We took the 3 -hour Whooping Crane & Coastal Birding boat tour. Great trip; highly recommended…read more The purpose of our weekend in the area was to see whooping cranes, and the company guarantees a sighting - they know where the cranes hang out and we saw at least a dozen pairs. We saw many other birds (the captain called them out) and dolphins. The boat holds at least 30 guests and has both open observation decks and enclosed seating below. Wear non-slip shoes and bring binoculars, a hat, and a jacket. There are small toilets on board, and we were served drinks and basic snacks. They have about a dozen loaner binoculars if you do not have a pair.
