Our family visited Corpus in November 2020. We looked at all the dolphin tours online and found Dolphin Connection. Although we had to call for a quote, it was worth it! Great people run this and it was very personal. We went out with just our family and got to stay out till it stated getting dark. We saw amazing spots and the captain was full of useful interesting and comical information. He didn't act bored or unconcerned. You could see he truly LOVES his job! It made for a wonderful experience! We plan on visiting Corpus again soon and will definitely use Dolphin Connection again!

Sonia was a great guide. She had so much enthusiasm you couldn't help but smile the entire time. She went out of her way to accommodate us and our reservation. There wasn't as many dolphins as I wanted to see, but you can't make them magically appear. We were able to play with them and watch them do jumps and flips. I will do this tour again and hopefully we are able to go first thing in the morning when they are more active. I loved this experience! She even let us pick a couple of seashells at the end of the tour. Tip: the colorful boat next to her dock is not part of the business. Another person rents that houseboat. If you don't see Sonia's boat, she is still with another group. We also paid after the tour.

Husband and I booked this for our vacation. Absolutely amazing experience. The tour guide made us completely comfortable and it felt as though "family was driving us around" as my husband put it. She also didn't follow a set path but went wherever the dolphins popped up. Definitely a hidden treasure.

Overall this is a wonderful boat tour! It is a small boat so you were next to the water and the dolphins swim right up to the boat. I love seeing the dolphins in the wild and doing whatever they feel like doing. I did not see any lifejackets on the boat. The boat seats six, but there were only three of us that day so it was nice and roomy. You stay in the bay and the water was calm. Please note this boat tour ONLY accepts cash or checks! And be sure you have the updated address from their website, not yelp.

Drove out about 10 minutes from the dock and settle near a shrimp boat.

The pirate crew is very engaging and get into character. The boarding process was very seamless and they provide instruction when entering and exiting the ship to keep everyone safe. The ship looks exactly like what you would expect a red pirate ship to look like. They have plenty of covered and open searing to choose from. There is an adult searing area but it does tend to fill up quickly. The ship has a bar and offers a variety of cocktails, drinks and snacks. They don't allow outside food onboard. They have a variety of activities planned for the kiddos to keep them entertained. My nephews particularly liked the treasure hunting portion where they weee able to collect hidden golden coins and other treasures like beaded necklaces throughout the ship. They also had swashbuckling, sword fighting and just the general banter to keep adults entertained. The kids all looked like they were having a blast and making new friends. We did see a few dolphins but definitely not as many as when on the dolphin cruise. There are times when the music is blasting pretty loud when you get a break from the stimulation from the interaction during activities. I wasn't sure what to expect but they did a great job keeping both adults and kids entertained through an engaging adventure. I would recommend this experience if you are in or around Port A.
