I dropped in today to just look around. I haven't been in a Big Lots since they started closing…read morestores. Fortunately, this one remains open. I was amazed when I walked in. It appears to be a total refresh and remerchandising of the store. They now carry a large section of men's, women's and children's clothing. The store was clean, well stocked, and organized. They still carry furniture as well. Prices appeared to be extremely competitive.

Took them home and opened the box and found things missing or the components did not match up for assembly. So a word to the wise. However, in their defense I can say they accepted the items in return without issues when I brought them back. They were very professional and polite. The store is well laid out and clean. I have had no problems finding things finding things at all and I have purchased quite a few things more reasonably than Walmart. So overall a good place to check when shopping

Wasn't aware of the Roses Stores chain before I came across this one. It's basically like Big Lots…read moreor Gabriel Brothers..only a lot more run down and dirty. The mold and mildew smell that was all throughout the mall was extra heavy in here. It was pretty overpowering at times..it was the ultimate reason why I decided we couldn't be there any longer. They had a lot of old crap for sale in here. Everything new and all..just slightly dated..the kind of stuff that might've been on normal stores shelves a couple years ago. Would not trust buying any type of food here..for obvious reasons. Attempted to use the restroom and literally turned around the second I opened the door. It was..beyond awful in there. I was able to find a couple of obscure DVDs that I hadn't seen before..and they were pretty cheap. That's the reason for the extra star. Otherwise..jeez louise..ROUGH PLACE!

She then proceeds to take my shopping cart and told me just to leave. I have contacted their corporate offices and have been assured action will be taken but will not return to this store. It's a disgrace!
