It always has fun seasonal items, and it honors the smaller holidays more than Wal-Mart does. It was the only place that had Mardi Gras items. It's great for people with kids or who work with kids because of all the goodies and toys available. Much to my surprise, I happened to be close to this Ollie's location in Midwest City while doing some shopping, so I thought I'd stop and look. They had the exact sets I wanted! And books are priced insanely well at all Ollie's! Only $10 per boxed set worth much more per book. And when I checked out, the cashier was so friendly. We talked Christmas and holiday nails. It's chaotic in all the best ways. This is the best place to buy books and activity books/kits for kids. Ollie's is usually my first stop for kids' birthday gifts or if I need to take wrapped single-serve snacks to a kid function. They also usually have plenty of seasonal items, whether it's decor, stuff for yard work, xmas toys, etc. tons of household items-small kitchen appliances, hygiene items (I go here for hygiene item drives that happen from time to time), rings, home improvement items and tools...it's really just a catch-all for random stuff. I buy pet food here often. It's just an easy place to get stuff at a really great price. I love deals and discounts, so I frequent here a few times each month.
