Unlike other stores with "dollar" in the name, Dollar Tree is a true dollar store. Everything is a…read morebuck, or less! My top item to buy at Dollar Tree is greeting cards. Most are, well, a dollar, but many are two for a dollar. All my relatives know I buy my cards here. I don't care. Theses things usually just get thrown away anyways. I usually can't get out without buying some candy either, making it a great stop before a movie. On this visit I needed some tape. 3/4" wide tape, for a dispenser of mine. Found it. 6 rolls for a buck, score! By the way, this location used to be a Dollar General! Funny. Bottom Line: Haven't been to a Dollar Tree? Check it out, you might be surprised.

I've lived across the street from this store for 3 and a half years and have been here 2 times. The…read moreday I moved in, I didn't know what else was around, didn't know the area, bought a case of beer as a had a couple of days of hard work ahead. The next day, I brought it back because it was skunked. It wouldn't have been so bad if they'd said they wouldn't refund because I'm sure the manufacturer would but they said I didn't buy it there. I stood there for a minute thinking they were joking because the woman who sold it to me was standing right next to him looking me in the face! They were Serious! Lol It was SNL comical, but very poor business and highly offensive. I prefer to support small business but obviously not one like this, I'll drive to Albertsons.

I have to report his level of professionalism, he demonstrated outstanding courtesy and kindness. This Walmart has the simplest…read moreprocess, fastest service, clearest communication, and best discount offers of any pharmacy we've ever worked with. The staff are helpful and move quickly. We never feel our time is being wasted and always feel important. The rest of the store is your basic Walmart Neighborhood Market, which against brand reputation, charges $1-$2 more than Winco for nearly everything and has a smaller selection of products, often not including some of our favorite brands. We do like their health products section, which seems to always have what we need at a good price (more props to the pharmacy). It's cheaper than Kroger Market and more convenient if only because it's not huge and spread out. For certain Walmart things, I'll still drive a little farther to the Super Center. For groceries, Winco is much better. If you need a local pharmacy, I highly recommend the one here.

Over the years they have saved us thousands of dollars and been an important part of our budget raising a family of four on one modest income. In all that time I have only had a couple of experiences with what I would call "less than friendly cashiers". Mostly they've been helpful, accommodating, efficient, and super friendly. When my kids were growing up, (and now my grandkids) they liked coming here just to visit their favorite cashiers because they were always greeted like one of the family. Each trip is like a treasure hunt. You never know what great buys you'll find, so remember to bring a cooler to stock up! There are some things that aren't as competitively priced, but rarely have I left without finding anything at all. I try to come atleast a couple times a month. I may not find everything I want on each trip, but it's definitely been worth it for our family to keep coming back consistently because of the changing inventory and good deals. A lot of the time fruits and vegetables are ripe and ready to eat, but since we usually eat them quickly, or immediately freeze or can them, it's not been much of an issue. Once got a crate of strawberries for .50/lb, culled out a few moldy ones, ate what we wanted then froze the rest for smoothies. Done the same with bananas, blueberries, avocados, etc. Occasionally dairy products and frozen meats may be slightly out dated, but again for the same reason it's not been much of a problem, especially considering the $$$ saved. I've found fantastic prices on organic and gluten free foods. Since dry or shelved organic foods contain less preservatives they don't keep as long after the expiration date, but in over 20 years shopping here that's rarely been an issue. They do have a 7 day return window (with receipt) and the few times I've needed to return an item, staff was very apologetic and accommodating. One caveat, if you're not into "black Friday like" crowds I would recommend shopping as soon as they open on Saturday morning or late in the afternoon (their busiest day). The stores are clean, but the facilities aren't new or fancy, so if that's important to you this may not be your cup of tea. But if friendly service and PRICE!!! matter, then you won't be disappointed!
