Old brands and new brands you won't find at any other stores. They carry green tomatoes, which is great to use to make fried green tomatoes, a staple from the south. It's much different from tomatillos. There are big green tomatoes and a 4 pack of reddish-green tomatoes. I saw old brands that they used to carry in stores while I was a little girl. Still being sold. They have cornish hens, liver cheese, and much more! I love that they have large bags of fries, nuggies, and big boxes of frozen goods for an amazing price. In the morning and around lunch time, the in-store chefs perfectly cook a scrumptious breakfast that's so good. You have to get to the store early before noon to get it. There is typically a line, too. Around lunch time before 4:00 pm, they have homecooked meals. It is delicious! The cooks really know what they are doing and it is affordable. When entering the grocery store, be sure not to shy away of the stinky stench upon entering. It smells bad, but dissipates as you continue to walk away from that area. Come on down to Vowell's for all your shopping and meal needs. You won't be disappointed!

The prices range from good to great for almost anything people normally buy(at least the generic…read morebrand of that something). If you are a name brand buyer or buy things that are not everyday items, you may pay retail or even at prices that are retail in high cost of living areas. Often, sale prices for these items/products are above or at the going rate that you would find someplace else. But, you can find quality generic products here(Always Save is Vowell's signature brand and they have good examples within their brand: cookies, chips, ice cream, etc--more good than not, but do not be surprised if you find a dud here or there). Since you can get generics, you can mix and match their generics and high cost items to not do that badly at the register. This is a similar grocery store to other Vowell's establishments, but there is not as much variety at the Noxapater, MS branch due to it being a small store in a small town and there is no restaurant counter to it, either. However, I have shopped at others and most of what I said applies. Yet, the times that I've eaten food from the Vowell's in the surrounding areas--they offer takeout and it's like homemade resembling children school cafeteria eating in the 90s(verdict: average--not Ryan's quality from my experience nor would you expect it to be, either). And, I've had no issue with friendly service. But, at least a few of them(including the Noxapater one) have this nauseating odor(not stinky, but nauseating)...
