They didn't sell dry ice but it comes in on trucks delivering their frozen products. Not knowing exactly when the truck would arrive we decided it probably wouldn't work out. A few minutes later they called back to say that the truck was in. They didn't have to call us back but did. We stopped in and they gave us 50+ lbs free!! While Frank's purveys a wider selection of goods than might have been expected (and at good prices, no less), their insufficient stock of the desiderated kolaches (read: no kolaches) really began to cast a pallor on the whole operation -- until, at the moment of truth, the extremely accommodating staff of the Food Mart intervened in order to direct us to Jack's Qwikshop, which sat just slightly back up the highway. I am fairly certain Frank's is the best grocer and sundries stop for many miles, and I'd wager the service you'll receive there will be of a very high notch; but I will regretfully inform you that (despite being literally a block away from the town bakery) they probably won't have kolaches, which is quite likely the reason you've stopped into "World Capital of Kolach" in the first place.

They also have a small deli if you want to order a sandwich. If you are in this part of Nebraska this might be your closest "grocery store". Stop in and pick up your stuff and chat with the locals!

They really had almost everything we needed, the clothing was a bit sparse, but food and drink wise this walmart was set up like the walmart in omaha. The staff was friendly and efficient, we did self check out and were in and out really quick. It's only about 10 miles from the lake resorts and camp grounds.
