OMG I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this store!!!!! This is the biggest .99 store I've ever been in. The…read morefirst time I stopped in here a few yrs ago I was soooo impressed! So of course when I was in Lake Havasu @ the end of Aug. I just had to stop in here. I wasn't looking for anything special, besides a head of lettuce, which I decided to buy a bag of shredded lettuce instead. There is soooo much stuff. Over the years the .99 has gotten so much better with their holiday decorations. Even though there is a .99 store in Vegas, very close to my home I picked up some stuff here that I probably could have gotten back in Vegas. If your coming into Havasu from Vegas you will hit a Walmart on your right but if you can I'd save your money for here. They have a good size produce section along with a lg. refrigerated section. Now they won't have everything Walmart does but its worth checking out. This location is great because its more in the heart of Lake Havasu. It always seems like Walmart is sooooo far away from in town, but this place isn't. They have party decorations, gift bags, holiday decorations, snacks, health & beauty, garbage bags, kitchen bags, canned goods, kid stuff, bathroom stuff, paper goods, storage containers, water bottles, coloring books and more!! I've used the bathrooms which weren't too bad. Checking out goes pretty quick. When I was here in Aug. 2020 I found a lucky bamboo plant for $1.99 in a cute little pot. Yes, $1.99........ .99 stores will have a few items that cost more then 99 cents. Those products do have a price tag stating this so no surprises when you go to check out. The thing I've noticed & I'm not happy about is some items that they have charged .99 for they have increased the price. I noticed this on an Italian salad dressing. Now its $1.49. Really???? I mean I know its still a good deal but when your use to paying only .99 for it, its disappointing. :-( I was just back in Havusu the last weekend of Sept. to get one more hot sun, warm weather & water time in & of course had to stop back in here. That visit was quick because I wanted to pick up a couple of lucky bamboo plants to give out as gifts. I was so disappointed to find that they didn't have any more. All gone. I did find tiny succulents for .99 & bought 2 of them. Once I got them home I re-potted them & the leaves were just falling off so the plant became much smaller. Not sure what was up with that as they were not dead or brown?? We will see how they make out in my cute potters @ home. Just so you know the food products that they do sell are not expired items. I can't say I've seen items that are expiring soon. I've bought food from here & have eaten it and I'm still alive to write about it!! Just check this place out for yourself, you won't regret!! Only one bad thing I'd give a 1 star to is that management & employee's don't enforce customers to wear a face mask inside here. There are signs telling you too on the front doors but people are still coming into the store without one on. Lake Havasu is sooooooo bad for this as its not only going on in this store but many other stores in Havasu.

Growing up, the only department store was JCPenney's. It always had great back to school sales and…read moreplenty of clothing options to choose from. Now that I'm older, I still like shopping here for some great deals. A lot has changed at JCPenney's over the past few years, but they still have decent clothing as great prices. Plus, they are constantly having sales and you can easily order something online and pick-up in store. This location is kind of out of the way (as is everything out at this mall) but it is on the new side and very large. It is easy to navigate between departments and find what I need or to just browse and find a great deal. There is plenty of parking both out front and in the back of the store. Overall, I like coming here and will definitely be back.

I would go in with nothing particular in mind to purchase but always have been amazed by the number of things I walked out with that I didn't realize I needed. Most of the things I bought were impulse buying however, by the time I got home I find my new found treasures to be very useful and wonder why I hadn't gotten them sooner. Only negative I have experienced was when I bought a new squeegee blade for drying my garage floor, it did not come with a wooden handle, similar to a broom or shovel handle. I asked two of the employees and they said they didn't sell them in the store. Unusual for a store similar to a hardware store to not have wood handles. No big deal, 1 more stop for me but a lost sale for Harbor Freight. As to the other persons review (Dawn M.) regarding her "No Star" comment, I was treated very nicely by the employees I encountered. I have no way of knowing, as she apparently did in her review, who the "sub par manager" was. I was not treated like "a second class citizen" nor did I notice any of the employees treated that way. I understand that Lake Havasu is "a tight community" but this outsider has no problem with Harbor Freight and I feel that I was treated as well as anybody else in the store. It will continue to be one of my favorite stops when I travel South to Havasu.

After I paid she looked at the money like she had never seen cash before inspected it several times making sure it was not counterfeit. I can understand that i wouldn't want to get burned with bad money either. That wasn't the issue the issue was that after i looked at my receipt she was incorrect i had been charged full price for everything no discounts. I asked and she stated that it was not her responsibility to know what was on sale. So i asked if she could adjust it after i presented the sales cost. It wasn't much a $12 difference but that's not the point at this time she said i needed to present an Identification to get a refund. I told her i dd not have an ID she said she couldn't give me a refund with out it. At this time i became upset i didn't say nothing other then please cancel my order and return all my money she then refused said not without an ID so i asked why? "you didn't ask for ID when i paid you 2 minutes ago"! At this time the Manager decided to tell her to take a break that he would take care of me. She closed out her register and walked away he proceeded to give me his back and kept servicing the other aisle of customers. After a few minutes i knew what they were doing i grabbed my receipt and my cart and left i had two choices leave without my money that was not going to happen! Or cause a scene that would've involved the cops and tie me up on time. Or do what i did i grabbed my receipt my cart full of goods and told them to keep the damn $12 i wont ever go back that is the worse customer service i have experienced in a very long time. I paid for the extra warranty i paid for a 2 year renewal and now i regret it all. Harbor Freight does not have a customer support line to call. They know they carry stuff at a discount price and its convenient to get but from now on i will rather pay the freight and have it shipped then to step into that store again.
