It's essentially the last place resort for new items. Nothing used is sold here. I like this place but it's quite messy. You have to be in the hunting type mood to shop here, that's for sure. Also, some of the discounts are not that great. I one time bought an inflatable mattress here before. It was the first one I've ever purchased so I didn't really know how much they run. I bought it here for $35. I later see one at Ross for the same price. That's not Dirt Cheap. It should be less than Ross here.

It's almost impossible to shop when things are so utterly disorganized. Surely it wouldn't cost much extra to hire one person per day to keep things organized? Or has it ever been organized? Hard to tell on some aisles.

The biggest challenge is to look at everything in the store and limit your spending! There is so much great stuff; I could have been in there for hours. I debated even writing a review because I want this place to sort of stay a secret (which would explain why it took me so long to hear about it even though I live within an hour from three of the four locations). You will not regret a trip to this store. It offers a lot more than the nola store simply because they have SO much more room. Also the workers are very friendly. Sometimes in the quarter you kind of feel judged by stores' staffs, whether that is created in the customer's head or not. Here, it is very friendly, and - bonus - less sales tax than LA.
