In desperation I called Walmart just to see if they could help. Sure enough they had the tire in stock and were working that afternoon. Whew! I called Walmart; the manager's lame response to the situation was that it was out of Walmart's control because they used a third-party delivery service. It seems that a company like Walmart could insist on a delivery person able to receive information and communicate in English in Nebraska. The woman finally found me and she was delightful but was unable to communicate other than pantomime. She couldn't even ask for the special number code that she was supposed to receive from me. This was ridiculous. This has nothing to do with the delivery person but everything to do with Walmart not taking care of customers. Just another conglomerate taking our money and putting little businesses out of business.
