When I first moved to Commerce, there was a lot about the area that I could see, that needed alot of improvements. But, one thing definitely did not. Dollar General, in Commerce, Texas off Live Oak, was not only family oriented but very kind to my personal needs. "Ricky", one of the infamous employees that definitely, brought home to me. He was assisting an elderly man, and loading his groceries. It was one of those moments that you knew, he has done the same thing, many times, for the gentlemen, every-time. Ricky kindly waited on every last customer, and then step out to load this very elderly mans groceries into his vehicle. Knowing with every 24 pack of water.. let alone everything else that this man had purchased, he would never be able to load himself, was completely a selfless behavior, I could never forget. Also, Ms. Tammy, one, who's kindles deeds, let alone selfless gestures and kind words, will forever be taken to heart. This humble employee, has left me with words unspoken, no matter what day, she is always smiling! You share your day to day ups and downs and she never allows you to feel alone! Tammy, has by far exceeded, me not only to come to "her" store but an forever friend, to Dollar General. I have learned, it doesn't matter, "where", you are, or how far, you can always find family! Thank you, for your service Ricky and Tammy! I will forever be a Dollar General, off Live Oak, customer, of course with my head held high. Because, both of you expect nothing less! read more
