It's a nice place and good budget. It's close to the stores, gas stations, restaurants, and 10-15 minutes to the UNA campus. There are railroads tracks around the area. It's close to the trees/forest where I love to see and hear the birds and small animals. The pool is nice. Great parking and guest parking are there. Nice neighbors we had. The kitchen is small but it is tolerable. I'm so glad they have a building office so we can print off our papers. Maintenance is on point when we needed help with some fixing or problems. Stephanie and her team are super nice by hanging the card and balloons on the door. It is a quiet neighborhood also. I would love to live there again, but I had to move to 2020 due to family. I would definitely recommend living here as a college student.

She went way above my expectations and was a pleasure to work with.  The apartment is great to live in and there is plenty of grass outside to let your dog out to potty. Neighbors were pleasant and mostly college students, noise was never a problem. Maintenance was helpful the one time I needed them.  Overall I enjoyed living at Courtyard and would choose to live there again if I had to choose.

Upon moving into Copper Creek Townhouse In April of last year, I was set to have a positive…read moreexperience with my first apartment. I'd heard nothing but good things about the place. I was even told it was a quiet neighborhood with many older individuals and no party-throwers/college kids/etc. Apparently I did not speak with the appropriate people about this choice--they were wrong. Both of my neighbors were in college and very, very noisy. (Keep in mind, all of the things I will list here are not all inclusive and are just a FEW examples of issues that went UNRESOLVED after reporting). One neighbor hosted numerous parties and it they were so loud that I could hear the people talking and comprehend their words. There were many nights that I had to turn on fans, the air unit, dishwasher, etc just to drown out noise from both walls. The other neighbor had dogs that were let out WITHOUT leashes and were allowed to USE THE BATHROOM anywhere they chose (owner did not clean up after and leasing manager Ashlee Henry did not do anything about this nor did she do anything about any of the issues that happened during my stay here). The neighbor allowed the dogs to entire my porch area and travel through the garden mulch, spreading it everywhere and did nothing about it. The dogs defecated in front of MY area, the owner did not clean up until I kindly asked her to, to which she said "I don't have time." This neighbor was also very loud, slamming every door throughout the entire unit. This is also the same neighbor that the MANAGEMENT COMPANY allows to stay at these apartments at a DISCOUNTED RATE (inside source told me that they are "related to the company"). This would not be fair even if she were a civilized human being and an acceptable neighbor. As far as I saw, most or all of my neighbors let their animals defecate anywhere and were not forced to clean up after them. So much for playing in the yard with the family. Parking was also an issue on the premises. Although this needs work, it was the least of my worries. The office crew were caught at least once coming into my unit without a notice as well. This occurred over the summer of 2015. I know this because my alarm system had been tampered with while I was gone to work that day. This apartment complex is also located directly beside a business called Shoals MPE... There is no privacy fence of anything to block off from this business. When on break, this business's employees smoke and when they smoke, I got to smell it. It was disturbing and I could not even enjoy a spring breeze coming through the windows. Ultimately, I left Copper Creek Townhomes/Apartments even after attempting to get a transfer to a 1-, 2-, or even 3-bedroom unit. I was told they "had nothing available" but I was seeing the availability right in front of me. No help. This was the worst experience and I wouldn't wish it on my enemy. The owner must not require his/her employees to possess/maintain good customer service attributes. The current leasing manager, Ashlee Henry, possesses none. I've never experienced someone as rude and unprofessional as this person. And to think for an entire year, I had to deal with her. She did not help with any of the above issues and she was not nice. Upon moving out, I spent more than 6 HOURS cleaning the place. I was still charged $60 (or I would be turned over to their collection agency) and they did not return my security deposit that I should have received since I kept the entire apartment looking spectacular. Anything to make or keep a dollar, right? I never caused any trouble and never sought out for it. I followed every rule; I WAS their best tenant and THAT is not coming from me. Hope this helps.

They have a very nice pool area & keep things clean. Some of the places I looked @ were less expensive but depressing. We wanted a place that had nice amenities. The mgt has been very helpful too. We like it here.

Recently…read moreI've needed my air conditioning unit serviced and whoever was called to look at it said it just had a dirty air filter when I stay on top of it. I was told because it was after hours and it cost the company a lot to have an after hours technician come out. I was asked to turn it off and on like I was an idiot. It ended up breaking a second time soon after and I was told again it was my air filter when it had been changed a week before this call. The apartments were so well maintained when I moved in about 3 years ago, but not anymore. The other day I had ants coming in behind my stove and the maintenance man let me take a photo of what he was spraying with so I could, "go buy it at Lowe's because it's too expensive to call out pest control everytime someone needs it." The neighbors above me have been so loud I've had to put my dog on anxiety medicine. When I come home from a days work, her nerves have had it. I shouldn't have to medicate my dog to live somewhere. It sounds like elephants with a screaming child above me. I was told by the landlord that, "What I'm NOT going to do is uproot a family!" But was perfectly fine when I said I will uproot everything to move to a more quiet unit. I have had to call the police on this family because the child (aged about 3-4) was screaming at the top of her lungs and saying "no daddy, no, please no." This noise and extremely strong smells coming through my vent are now a daily occurrence. I loved this place at first. It's so convenient to town and I was promised it would be a more quiet & luxurious space but it has failed miserably. Not to mention many days I see the 3-4 year old out on the balcony BY HERSELF. Also, now since they allowed two young girls to move in, and because there are extra family members staying at the apartments around me parking is a nightmare. The young girls have their boyfriends staying the night. When I moved in I was promised everyone had parking stickers to be put on the cars of residents and would be checked. No one ever checks. I loved it here, but now between 2 rent raises I am paying more than friends and family are paying for their mortgages.

Actually refused to come inspect the unit on moving out. Obviously this is part of their crooked strategy. I would not trust a single person in that front office. Lazy con artists.
