We were greeted warmly(y'all better brush up on your Portuguese) and chose a booth in this cozy, bright restaurant. We ordered the freshest lemonade we've ever tasted. I opted for the classic galeto(grilled chicken) with barbecue sauce while my daughter had the salmon. We chose fries and white rice as our sides. We had a long, luxurious lunch; my daughter claims it's the longest sit-down meal we've shared. I didn't take photos, but I can attest to the abundance and great quality of food we shared. All for under $50!

The waiters were very attentive as they greeted us at the door and they even had menus in english. My friend and I ordered lemonades and they were very sour but the waiter brought us sugar on the side that we were able to add. As for food we decided to share a meal. We had the churrasco misto with broccoli rice and fries. The churrasco misto came with two pieces of steak, two pork chops, two small sausages, some onions, green pepper, and a slice of pineapple. So, this very well filled up both my friend and I. The steak was a little too rare for my liking with some blood but the sausage was very flavorful and the pork chops were very juicy just a little too salty. But the green pepper, onions, and pineapple complemented the meats very well. As for the broccoli rice, it was a very good addition to the meal. There were little fried pieces of garlic on the top that complemented the rice very well. The fries were also great. They were unsalted but there was salt at the table that could be added. Overall, I very much enjoyed my meal and I would very much recommend this place as it was a very enjoyable experience

I found the burger to be a bit dry, but I only went with the traditional, so there's still hope for the other varieties Hare offers. The beginnings of Hareburger are humble and special - a 19-year-old veggie pioneer asked his family for R$50,000 and created the original Hareburger to then sell along the beach in Zona Sul. It's worth mentioning he'd also play the flute and wear a magic hat while telling you wonderful things about mystical outer space. That's the culture that created this Hareburger spot and now you'll find a handful of locations strewn throughout Rio. Aside from the different veggie burger options, you can also enjoy a cone of the famous frozen açai - it's quite yummy- and a number of different juices.
