Shockingly, the owner took our dog off-leash outside the fenced area--despite being in a wilderness setting known for wild animals and freezing temperatures. Our dog got loose and was missing for four nights and five days in sub-30 degree weather. We were so distraught that we ended our vacation early, flying back from St. Croix at significant personal expense, just to help search for him. This level of negligence is beyond unacceptable. A boarding facility's most basic responsibility is to keep pets safe. Instead, we experienced fear, heartbreak, and thousands of dollars lost due to one person's incompetence. Please think twice before trusting them with your animal.

Super friendly staff helped me book my appointment and gave me instructions on how to send his current medical records to them, all of which I did ahead of our appointment. When I arrived, during the COVID pandemic, they were asking people to call when they arrived and they would come out, check you in, and take your pet inside for their check-up. This seemed to work really well. I arrived and called, and Caleb came right out and made sure paperwork was all filled out. He took my little guy inside and within 5-10 minutes the vet was calling me with an update. Everything was super efficient and everyone was super nice. I received a follow-up email and I think I even got a phone call checking to make sure he was doing okay. SUPER HAPPY with the service, care and affordability.

I then was left in the room for 35 minutes with no communication. After deciding to leave, I told the person at the check in desk what had happened and I was met with a halfhearted "ok." No apology, no offer to check on what had happened, nothing. This office has gone downhill ever since COVID hit. We will not be going back.

Jackie, Luke and their team at Nature of the Dog immediately put my anxiety over a new kennel to rest. The whole team is incredible! Very professional and loving with the dogs. Sami jumps out of the car when we arrive and is totally exhausted when I pick her up. And............ as if best in class daycare/boarding care isn't enough, they have a wonderful Farm Store where I buy fantastic, professionally processed eggs, beef, and chicken.

Went to another groomer before finding this one and it was like "we'll let you know." Well I like to have an idea of when the grooming will be done so I can plan errands around the grooming. I live in the country and don't want to drive all the way home and then have groomer call and tell me 4 or 5 hours later to come and get my dog. They are excellent groomers but also know what good customer service is.
