The staff was very accommodating even with my unruly 3 year old not wanting to cooperate. We sat outside on the balcony overlooking a beautiful garden and pool (presumably part of the Alvya Hotel which the restaurant is part of). After dinner, we were greeted by the owner and the chef and he thanked us for visiting. I thanked him for a great dinner and he was even nice enough to take my son on a quick tour of the kitchen ;) when we return to Izmir again, we will definitely go back. Teşekküller Mitu staff. ;)

However, one thing that made this place special and continues to do so is the music database and vibe. No matter how much you paint and straighten the edges you know you are walking into a rock bar. If you are lucky to get the attention of the DJ/owner, you will definitely be talking to a man with a great knowledge of music. I learned a lot of what I appreciate in rock/metal today thanks to his recommendations and ideas. Other than that, place every drink to offer that you can find any where. :) As you can see, you go to visit this place for the music temple it stands for! Rock on!

Here what went wrong ..they charged us 20% more . They initially told me that I could not read the receipt I signed. They later claimed that it was a math mistake . Overall price was reasonable. I left zero tip as a response to these scam artists . (PS : in USA waiters are not protected by federal or state minimum legal wage legislations .This is how a single mother buy food for her kids or buy gas. So don't even dare to do a correlation)
