Extremely Unprofessional -- Repeated Delays, Poor Communication, and Failure to Provide Filed…read moreDocuments My experience with PR Legal and Marla over the past year has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I referred several cases to Marla and paid her to handle the filings. In multiple cases, we had to wait four to five months before documents were finally filed with the court. During these delays, I repeatedly texted and called asking for updates, but many of my messages and calls went unanswered. On several occasions, I eventually had to go to her office in person just to get a response. Another continuing problem was obtaining copies of documents that had supposedly already been filed. After filings were made, I repeatedly requested complete conformed/filed copies for our records, but they were rarely provided promptly or completely. The most recent incident was the final straw. We have a hearing coming up in approximately two weeks. On August 4, 2026, I specifically requested copies of the filed documents for the upcoming hearing. Ten days later, on August 14, I followed up again because I still had not received them. She finally sent me only one document, even though there were multiple documents I had requested. When I called to ask for the remaining copies, she initially tried not to answer even though she was available. She then told me that she would no longer respond to me because of my "attitude." After a year of being patient through repeated delays and unanswered communications, I find it unbelievable that simply insisting on receiving copies of documents related to cases we paid her to handle would be used as a reason to stop responding or working on the matter. I gave her considerable patience throughout the past year. I was not asking for anything unreasonable--I was asking for timely filings, basic communication, and copies of documents filed in cases we paid her to handle. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend PR Legal or Marla. The repeated filing delays, lack of communication, difficulty obtaining our own case documents, and her decision to stop responding after I pressed her for missing copies were completely unacceptable. I paid for professional services and expected professional responsibility and communication. Unfortunately, that was not what I received. Don't go there, or you wasted your money. She doesn't eve deserve one star.

I gave her a call and was immediately able to speak to her. I was asked to follow up with her with a case number to a pending legal matter but was unable to reach her. So I left the receptionist a voicemail in hopes my call would be returned the following day. That was not the case. I called for 3 weeks straight leaving voicemail after voicemail. After a while I gave up because it seemed to me like she just did not want to take me on as a client. That's ok. I tried calling again as I'm coming down to the last few weeks before I have to submit my response to the court and to my surprise I was able to get through only to be told that Ms. Donoso would be off the next week and when I brought up the amount of times I've tried calling and reaching out leaving voicemails, the receptionist responded in a tone like she did not care and was like "oh I'm so sorry". The receptionist made me feel like my legal issue was very minor and she was completely dismissive about my situation. She completely lacks empathy and understanding. What I don't appreciate is the lack of communication. I called over 5 times in attempts to at least get a call back and never received anything back.
