I am my mother's caregiver and "Doctors At Home" was suggested to me by a nursing company we currently use. I decided to write a review because the "Nurse Practitioner" assigned to my mother, doesn't have the time to return my phone calls. In two different "critical" occasions, she did not respond. The first time, was the first week of October, I rushed my mother to the hospital and placed two phone calls to the "Nurse Practitioner ", to let her know, as per her request, when my mother was home, so she can come by and see her. I never heard from her and she never came. This past Monday morning (Nov 2), first thing in the morning, I contacted Vera Ahmad, the "Nurse Practitioner " because the nurse (from another company) asked me to get an authorization from "Doctors At Home", to do an X-ray on my mother's leg. Vera never return my call. I decided to write via "Messenger" to the company, and I finally heard from her on Tuesday (next day)! To make a long story short, the person responding in "Messenger" (I take it is the owner/manager) , has a "smart" way to respond and pretty much told me, when I brought up the irresponsibility and lack of care of his "Nurse Practitioner": "We do not have a problem as we are the best in the industry". I also had a terrible experience with Drs at home or primary care at home I was trying to get a hold of the manager Vera to let her know some of my concerns and mentioned that if things didn't get better I would have to look into getting another primary care dr and I was told to wait for the manager Vera to talk to about my concerns well when I didn't hear back from her I was told when I called thst I was dismissed from the company that they thought I wanted to leave so they just went ahead and dismissed me from the company that's how much the owner manager wanted to make things right with a sick Lukemia patient,well if I would have ever gotten the chance to explain my concerns 1 of them would have been that there's only 1 girl working in the office all week and I feel sorry for her ,her name is Janet and you can't ever get a hold of anyone working there because she's the only Onr covering a whole office,also as far as the ARNP Jacqueline at forth she arrived at my door at least a week before I was dismissed and wanted to know what I was doing sitting in my house without a mask on almost trying to correct me very snippy and I said well it's my house and if I want to be inside without a mask I dint see what the problem is and she said well you just had covid a month ago !!! Very snooty like I had done something wrong then she wanted to know the mg of a medicine I needed fefilled I told her I wssnt sure and she said why don't you know your medicines real snooty,then she wanted to know the name of my home health care team that came out to see me and I didn't know the phone number???? Didn't know the phone number what's the matter with me for having such fall as to not have all this memorized I finally began to cry I felt so bullied and beat down emotionaly and I thought to myself if this is how I'm going to be treated being already sick I have enough against me.please do not use this home health care Drs at home or prim start care at home please God don't put a elderly person who can't fight good for themselves under their care God knows what can happen thankyou and please listen this is no exaggeration at all!!!!!!! read more
