Affordable quick and trustworthy place.with recommendations from a friend i found the place and got set at a reasonable price

Went in here hoping to get my card renewed. I made and paid for appointment. I didn't know that I needed to see same doctor that I had seen years before for renewal. Male personnel who checked me in was condescending and rude. Then when he thought I was out of earshot talked poorly about me and my husband (caregiver) while I was waiting for him to get me. Then male employee asked why I was still in waiting room and hadn't left! As a combat military veteran, I can tell you, go elsewhere. read more

I have been a patient with DOCMJ for five years. My last renewal they have screwed up my flower recommendation and will do nothing but blame the state and make you wait to fix it. I have had to switch to another doc, for 1/2 the price as DOCMJ after wasting $190 to have my flower recommendation lowered. The DOCMJ call center was extreemly rude, misinformed and hung up on me when I explained what the state told me. The actual doctors office has NO phone and frowns upon people going there to find out why their rec is screwed up. IF you have a flower exemption AVOID DOCMJ They WILL screw it up. There are much cheaper and compassionate doctors in the area. Don't be afraid to change, its easier then you think, cheaper too. read more

Stay away from this place! Terrible experience. Took over a month til I had to walk in and get my money back. They did everything wrong from start, never even got my state money for registration. The worst place to go, does not return your call and if they do they drop it This place is a joke

A month ago we paid for my son to be seen with Dr. Miller. Doc MJ so conveniently took our money and didn't inform us that doctor Miller was no longer with the company. Instead they waited till the day of his appointment to send a cancellation notice, because the only doctor available was one that he had not seen before. My son has disabilities that require this medicine to function in his daily life. It is a necessity, not a privilege for him to receive this. They tell us it will be another month before there is an appointment available for him to be seen. In that time his card will expire and he will go unmedicated for a least 2 weeks. These appointments are built around our work schedules in which we have to take time off to be able to attend whether it's virtually or in person. So now there is a day of loss wages and all they can say is "We are sorry for the inconvenience" If you were sorry, a doctor would work late and correct the mistake your company caused. But that would be to Inconvenient for them!!! How Ironic read more

This was a great experience that I was not too sure about before the actual appointment. The Dr. Spent time explaining things thoroughly and provided take home literature for further study. We discussed health conditions and problems with those conditions. He provided clear directions and recommendations to consider. Had an appointment yesterday and they bumped it an hour earlier and would never answer the phone calls for me to figure out what was going on and also had me waste a lot of time, gas, and money just to get there and tell me that they need medical information that they could have just told me over the phone. Was recommended by two people I knew but it turned out pretty bad. read more

The Dr was real nice and explained everything, but when i was leaving the nurses told me how to do the next step. I went online to pay for my card on the state of Fl website thursday and it is saturday now and im still waiting on approval from the state. I was told when I left there I would be approved that day or early friday morning. They shouldnt tell people that and get there hopes up thats bad business in my eye. read more

I have used DocMJ from day one of legalization. They are not only the least expensive but their follow up is spot on. Dr Monastero was easy to discuss things with and very knowledgeable. My visits have been very pleasant and right on time. No lengthy discussion unless you have more questions or comments but he is willing to take as much time with you as needed. I was will pleased with my First assessment. The process was so Easy, the Staff was wonderful, just waiting for my Card.

The front desk staff was truly lovely, but Doctor Jerald Derkaz was seemingly a very rude and disrespectful man. Told me that my medical records weren't enough proof of my conditions and that I didn't qualify. Almost as if he was trying to diagnose me himself. I left very upset, the way he spoke to me and bickered as if I was an uneducated child who wasn't aware. I refunded my money and next day had an appointment at another office which I had a much more welcoming and respectful experience and guess what? I did qualify and now I am medicated. No thanks to Doctor Jerald Derkaz. Id much rather pay another office $200 than the $170 DocMJ charges for the better service. I do not want anyone else to experience what I went through, the emotional distress. Please take me review into consideration. read more

I'm going to be blunt here because I don't feel like I need to hold my tongue on this. First off I wanna say the lady at the front desk was super helpful. Absolutely awesome person and she does a great job. Secondly let's talk about the doctor. Dr. Thomas Derbes was INSANELY rude to me. The way he was talking to me and his attitude was far from professional. Guy looked at me with a straight face and told me he can just refund me and I can just go somewhere else. Word for word. The moment I sat down in that office with him, I didn't feel welcome and I didn't feel like he didn't want to help me. He had no problem helping anyone else. I don't know if it was the way that I looked or he was just having a bad day but this made my blood BOIL. I have had extensive surgery from a motorcycle accident that almost took my life not once but twice and left me permanently disabled and I had the surgery documents and he said they were not enough. I was willing to do whatever I needed to do to get anymore documents to get medication and he just didn't want to help. Half answered questions, no care in the world . This dude does not need to be in this practice especially this day of age if he is going to be this rude. He also even made a snarky remark at me which was "how long have you been a chronic user huh?" I haven't said A WORD about me being a chronic user or anything in that matter. I'm posting this not only here but several places and the better business bureau. Treated me like I was NO ONE.
