So now 10-15 yrs later I decided o get a bloodstone ring to replace the wedding ring and went to Milkens. I was quoted a price and paid a down payment. What I overlooked is they do charge a fee to use a card vice cash. My bad. It took 4 weeks past the original promised date to get the ring. When I went to pick it up I had cash on hand for the balance shown on my receipt. I was very surprised to learn I owed an additional $65.00 "mounting fee" which was not included on my original invoice/receipt. So I made another trip to the ATM to get more cash so I could avoid the card fee. Not happy about that.
