I recently started a videography business here in Santa Barbara and realized that if I wanted to build my brand, then one of the first steps would be to have a eye catching logo. I tried to do this on my own at first and the results were pretty crappy. Luckily I had been to an art exhibition at the DNA Gallery on Guitterez and learned that they did an entire range of services, with logo creation being one of the many. I met with Derren (the D of DNA) to discuss ideas and he was very helpful. He was very open to my suggestions, but also provided the guidance I needed to get my logo to where I could actually visualize it in my mind. It was amazing how he took just a few words and color suggestions and was able to convey that to his team. The actual logo was created by Ana (the A of DNA) and I was amazed at how quickly she worked. Within days I had 4 different black and white sketches or mock ups. I was super excited and was able to speak again with Derren and combine all my favorite aspects of each into one logo I was in love with. The end result was amazing. I could not be happier. The logo they designed completely captures the essence of my company. It tells the whole story in one simple and elegant picture. I am super excited about it and have had numerous compliments on it. I can't wait to have them create some t-shirts and business cards for me as well. Bottom line, the good people at DNA are creative geniuses. They are young and their ideas are unique and exciting. The business was founded by Derren when he met Ana and the two decided to put their creative talents together to form DNA Imagery. Over the years the company has gone through many evolutions from its humble beginnings. Starting as a graphic design & photography studio the duo eventually added a suite of services including video production, web & mobile app design & development before becoming a full fledged boutique creative agency in 2011.

I own Eos Lounge Santa Barbara along with my biz partner Brad, & our messiah, Adam Ray, the GM. DNA has been working with us since the early days and we have grown up together in this business. After 4 years in this racket, I'm proud to say biz is better than ever, largely in part due to the passion and genuine synergy that we experience working together. I've been working with DNA photographers since 2009 and recently used their graphic services as well. DNA nightlife photography (particularly Paul Vert) is skillful and well edited. We had a party filmed by a video/photo crew that ended up featured on MTV and in my opinion, Paul's photos from the same night were of better quality and that is what we use in our portfolio. DNA makes it very easy to communicate, realize, and revise your ideas. I don't think there is a single studio in Santa Barbara that can really meet the level of quality I've received.
