Found this company on Yelp of the holiday period, when there weren't so many options and very few others were getting back to me. It seems there had been a small structural misalignment, possibly the result of a small tremor. He repaired it on site. My family is gonna enjoy New Years Eve a whole lot more now that I can open the sliding doors to the back yard! 5 stars!

He was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I have a window whose glass spontaneously combusted. Of course the glass is not covered by the warranty and the manufacturer charges $400 to fix, so they recommended I call a dealer to fix it cheaper and faster, which I found listed on their website. I called, and the first thing said to me was "well what do you want me to do about it?" Sir, I want you to replace the glass. "Well it's going to cost you, we don't do that free." Yes, I am well aware of that you rude imbecile. Who taught you social manners? Anyone?! Then he tells me they don't do repairs. Fine. I hung up. Obviously you don't want my business, so you don't get it. A$$hole. I would be highly suspicious of all the 5 star reviews that have no pictures, no friends, and very few reviews. Fake news.

Our "Birdhouse" home was built in 1959 by real estate developer William Mellenthin who was known…read morefor designing charming ranch-style homes with gorgeous, wood beam, cathedral ceilings; He was also known for hiring the very best workmen to construct his homes. Having owned our home since 1991, my husband Robert K. & I began searching for a reputable company to replace our 30-40 year old roof--not an easy task! Luckily for us, our cousin Alan K. had an excellent experience with Pat Farrell, owner of Mar Vista Roofing, Inc., who replaced his roof after Alan had a bad experience with a former recent roofer who installed inferior shingles, which broke down & leaked! Thank goodness that Alan utilized Mar Vista Roofing's expertise to correct the situation--& to our benefit! Mr. Farrell was Johnny-on-the-Spot. He immediately shared with us his assessment of the condition of our roof (extremely old, but with 2 layers of shingles to avoid a complete replacement); he reviewed the choices we had of regular shingles versus top-of-the-line solarized shingles; he demonstrated his knowledge & experience so convincingly that we hired him on the spot & enjoyed watching his workmen carry out his directions to the "T". Within 2 days, the old roof was stripped off by 10--no kidding, 10--of the best workmen, & the new one installed by a different crew of the very best 5 or 6 workmen. The results? A beautifully installed, brand-new roof using solarized shingles in a great color! (BTW, for those of you who've read some of the poor reviews below: those unfortunate reviews must've been written by people who lack the education & good judgment to recognize someone with Pat Farrell's integrity.)
