Went here for a landscaping project for my backyard and picked up 2 tons of cobblestone. I showed up in a Uhaul which is hard for them to load since they use a loader tractor to dump the rocks into your vehicle, so open topped vehicles like pickups are the norm, but the operator was super careful. He took it as a challenge and gently got the tractor bucket into the Uhaul opening, slowly dropped the rock, and carefully pulled the bucket back out of the Uhaul. He did this twice and didn't even touch the Uhaul truck itself. I was very impressed. Crystal was also very helpful and nice as a salesperson!

Front yard, now a salty wasteland

My front yard looks like a superfund site. I ordered 5 yards of fill DIRT from DLM Landscaping. When I purchased it, they explained that the dirt will have debris in it. I've been in or near the construction and excavating world nearly all my life. I expected poor quality, sandy dirt, rocks and a good bit of trash. I expected that, with a bit of labor and amending, it would be fine for xeroscaping. What I got was sandy road salt. I mean A LOT of salt. Old Testament, Smite-Your-Enemies amounts of salt. There is so much salt that it turned alabaster white after it rained. I had spread some of it within a couple of feet of an established tree and it is killing the tree. I've left multiple messages requesting a manager/owner over the past weeks without a call back. When someone picks up the phone, I get some variation of "that's what you get with fill dirt". Are you kidding me??? NO! There is a big difference between dirt and salt. If you don't know that, you have no business being anywhere near landscaping materials.

Fuckin' rocks. What did you think they were?

Convenient location, with reasonable prices for landscaping materials, even in smaller quantities. We've bought two yards of mulch for our planted beds this year. The 1-yard bucket on their loader fills my truck bed exactly to the top. Good staff and fast service.

Sod, pavers, flagstone, boulders , gravel.

Yeoh! One door would not open. When I looked a small piece on the bottom was undone and the top was about one and half inches open. I called Mountain States right away. At this point the door was under warranty by the manufacturer and not Mountain States; however, Mountain States knew that the manufacturer would be unable to do anything until next week. He did not want me left with a door that would not lock. He sent Mountain States Building Products repairman to the house. Doug, thank you for coming. Doug reviewed the problem and after a long careful study determined that movement in the foundation caused the window to come off the track and out of alignment. He fixed it!!! Initially we liked the salesman and the way he conducted business. Now, we see a new side of the company. After 4 years, they stand behind their products and their customers. So glad we found you.
