I've been a customer for decades and have always been satisfied. Great used tires, great prices, and great service.

we have used DJ's Automotive and Tires on a number of occasions. They have always clearly communicated with us. Their ethics are beyond reproach, and we feel confident in their work. read more

Honest, reliable, conscientious. Does good work and doesn't try to sell you tires or other work that's not needed. So hard to find an honest mechanic. So glad we found this business. Great value! read more

I've been coming here for years. DJ and his dad have been very helpful every time I've visited. I don't know how they stay in business because sometimes DJ refuses to sell me a tire. On more than one occasion he said "no that's good all patched up, there's a few more thousand miles left in it". That's customer focused business right there. Quick, fast, cheap, and honest. read more

I was referred to DJ's for a new tire, by my regular auto shop. I called and was treated to one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time. When it was determined that they couldn't get the tire that I needed to match the one that was just put on in the Bay Area, John called around Sacramento for me ( I didn't ask him to do that!) and found a shop that could get my tire and install it that same day. He went above and beyond for me, and we have never met. I'm grateful for his help and think it's important to get the word out when you encounter service like this! Thank you, DJ's! read more

These guys are great always reliable and reasonably priced. Jason knows his stuff and honest. Keep up the good work!

Our college daughter student has used DJ's twice. They've been nothing but AMAZING and honest. Even drove her back to campus while her car was being worked on. 100% recommend! read more

Incredible, FAMILY OWNED business. They are honest, efficient, extremely reasonably priced. They have never tried to scam me out of money. They are hard working and deserve all the business they can get. 10 s!!! read more

My AC decided to quit during our last heat wave, so I took the car to Dennis. AC works like it used to and my wallet took a smaller hit than I anticipated. While I was there, I observed their handling of another problem car. They found the problem and corrected it at minimal cost to the customer, unlike other shops I have dealt with in the past. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Local guys, down to earth, helped me out more times than I can count. Whether I ran over a nail or had them look over a car before I went and spent thousands at a major mechanic. They always did a thorough job at diagnosing the real issue and helping you find the best and most cost-efficient solution. These guys are A-1 and consistent. Couldn't ask for a better local tire shop. read more

DJ's Automotive & Tire - Tires Near Me - Carmichael, California

Jason was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and gave me a very reasonable quote for a set of brand new tires. Said they would be there the next day, they ended up taking a couple days longer than he said, which wasn't a big deal but he upgraded my tires for free because of the extra wait. He called me every day with an update until the tires were ready and was very transparent about everything. The installation took about 30 minutes. The whole process was easy, painless and way less expensive than I had planned. Couldn't recommend them more! read more

Amazing work for a great price! We trust DJs with all 3 of our vehicles, always have been treated well and will continue to speak the praises of this place until they close for business, which I hope is NEVER! To the person who had a bad experience where his "parts were stolen": Around the time you are saying you had parts stolen off your car, you might want to double check who you're blaming for stealing parts, as there was a couple robberies around that area around that time, like 4 -5 months ago, a bad rash of them. Did you bother making a report to the police? Or did you just come on Yelp to give a bad review? read more

I love coming here. The first time was a few months ago when I was borrowing my dad's truck, I popped a tire while on the road. Jason was super helpful and gave me a really good deal on a used tire. Since I had such a great experience that time, I went back when I was having problems with my personal car. The check engine light was on so they did the system check for me for free and while they couldn't find anything wrong, they told me to come back if it turned back on. So far so good. Great service, really kind people! read more

This is our go to for tires. Anytime we have a leak or a flat, we make the drive to DJs. The place looks like a dump, but it's a diamond in the rough if you know what I'm saying. My only minor complaint is that the guy smokes like.a chimney even if my kids are around, but hey, it's his place and for the great service and prices I'm not gonna complain! read more

Jason and Dennis are awesome. They always get the job done quickly and don't charge much compared to other shops. My family has taken all our cars here for years when we need our tires fixed. Highly recommended read more

Great work ethic here. It's not going to win any beauty contests however that's not why we come here. Great deal on tires. Will fix a flat for 10$. read more

Excellent customer service. They get you in and out as quick as possible. Prices are very fair. Their workmanship is great.

I have been coming here for what must be close to 20 years. The father always took good care of me and his son Jason does the same and takes time to have a conversation with you no matter how busy they are. DJ's is a family owned business that has always given me a good deal with a friendly demeanor, Regardless if I am wearing a collared shirt and slacks in my Cadillac or grubby jeans and a hoodie with my old van, they treat me the same way and prices remain the same. Prices are very good for used tires and excellent for a flat fix and the wait time is usually minimal. The shop looks much better now that they have painted the front also. The prices at Bob's down the street are higher and they treat you more like a generic customer...I try to come to DJ's first when I have an issue. These guys won't steer you wrong. Recommended!! read more

Got us in and out quick with some good cheap used tires . Very friendly guy knows what he's doing . Glad we came here

What a great place. They diagnosed my son's car and fixed it within an hour for a reasonable price.

I love this place. They're rough around the edges but quick, reasonable, always helpful and friendly. So glad to have them nearby!

Great customer service family orientated business fast and convenient thanks Jason for taking care of my wheels.

I love this shop!!! Always fair pricing ,honest guys who above and beyond selling you tires, very professional, great guys to shoot the breeze with while they work on your car!! If you need tires, DON'T GO ANYWHERE else! Once you see the service ,you'll totally agree! read more

These guys are seriously the best auto & tire duo! Father & son...they are honest and very reasonably priced, and they work fast!

I like to come here because its never busy. The place is a shithole, but if you need a flat fixed real quick, or a tire balanced or something easy you will be in and out fast. Ive also bought a couple used tires here in the past and they gave me a good deal. They have a big selection of used tires. Im not saying im coming here to buy a brand new set of rims and tires for my car, but for the quick fix you cant beat it. read more

Dennis, is great at what he does. We take all our cars to him. He did his best to get our truck up and running. Thanks Dennis and Jason, for being open and there for us! Need auto care try DJ Auto!!! read more

I have been coming here for a few years now and just realized that I haven't left a review! Jason and Dennis are amazing! I am always in and out quickly and their prices are extremely fair. Dennis has always been straight up with me. He tells me how it is and gives me advice on future expenses. That's very rare in this industry. I recently had a blow out on the freeway and had to come by on my lunch break to have new tires put on. Jason literally got me in and out within 10 minutes! I will more than likely never go anywhere else. I can't say enough great things about this shop. read more

I always go to DJ's. They are so wonderful about checking some things without a huge charge. Two good guys! read more

I have to be fair and start off by saying I got a really good deal on a complete set of used tires but was told they would be good for two or three years. Three months later I have rubber chunks of tread flying off one of them. Three star rating for now because of good service and a fair price. If they're willing to make it right on the bad tire than Five stars it is! read more

Dennis and Jason have always treated me awesome! This is my main mechanic! I love this place. Despite the messy, whole in the wall look to the place, you get top dollar service for a fraction of what you would spend elsewhere! read more

Finally honest people I can trust that don't charge you extra for anything! I can not express how grateful I am for what they have done for my car and my heart...I am a woman and have been taken advantage of by so many different establishments. These men are sent from God. Thank you Dennis and Jason god bless you both...I will never go anywhere else! Muah!!! Pam Summitt read more

I love this place !!! It's your oldtime tire place with great customer service and care. I hope you give them a chance for your business I would hate for this place to ever close. It's great to help our local and small business to support them!!!! I've been coming here for years and I've always been greatly satisfied.... Sincerely written. Sharron read more

I was referred to DJ's when I found out my tire had a leak. When I called, Jason was very nice and said I can bring it right in. He looked at it right away, and discovered the valve was messed up. I was right there the entire time, as he explained everything, and proceeded to fix it. He fixed it, put air in the tires, checked my brakes pads, and I was all set. He also quoted me lower prices than some other shops did on future repairs I asked about. If you want someone who's trustworthy, nice, and not careless like some other places are, I highly recommend them. read more

The service here is crap. Had some work done and whadda ya know, it turned out to be a big mistake. Should have read citysearch.com first. Now i have to pay to have someone else fix it right. Avoid this place. read more

I needed new tires in an odd size for my vehicle. Odd size = expensive. The big tire companies quoted me around $800-$1050 for 60k warranty tires. DJs and one other local small business came in below $700. Consumer reports, and more importantly, my dad said the Yokohama's from DJs were the best value and quality, so I went with them. I paid over the phone Tuesday afternoon and they had them in Wednesday morning. The gentlemen who work there are very friendly and efficient. I read previous reviews that said the shop was messy, but I thought it looked fine from the outside, the actual work area looked organized, and I wasn't concerned about the cobwebs by the front counter. These guys work on cars, not cleaning houses. I'm really happy with the great deal they gave me on a good set of tires. read more

Crooks! Never fixed the problem I brought my car in for, stole parts off my car and tried to get away with double charging me. I took my car somewhere else and had to pay $370.00 to have it fixed and replace stolen parts. Should have gone with my gut when I called this place and I walked thru the door. Do not trust this place. read more

I had no tread on my tire and a nail sticking out ,and needed a quick fix. The guy here stayed overtime just to help me out. Also i didn't wait in a waiting room i sat and talked to him as he was doing my tires, made the time more enjoyable. Place is really messy but had character and i liked the mess. Tires and service were really cheap. Im definitely coming back! read more

Extremely nice and fast service! I came here sometime late last year to get my moms new tire fixed because there was a nail in it. It only costed me $5 and a few minutes of my time which was great! I definitely recommend this shop for tire repairs because of how fast their service is. read more
