I stayed at RE4 Hostel and I'm here to tell you, it was ONE OF THE GREATEST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE. Talk about a great place. The people that work there, the food, the place itself, just awesome. I wanna take all my family members there and take over the place. The people that work thee, so friendly and nice...OMG!! What a great experience. And the people staying there, just great people. The travelers!! Great! So nice and really hip. I loved it. I really love German people! Everybody was so nice to me. Really wanna go back. And while I'm out here, I would like to take this time to apologize to all of Germany.......FOR DONALD TRUMP!! HE IS WORSE THAN G W BUSH!!!! AMERICA IS TURNING INTO A TURD POOL!!!

They cater for all types of guest, from the ones who want to travel and stay as cheap as possible, to those like myself who prefer hotel quality but Hostel prices. I stayed in a double room with a shared bath room with one other room, as well we had our own kitchen to use. The reception staff were very friendly and keep the recpetion maned up until 22:00, when the hostel closes for the night, but with a back door for guest you can come and go as you please. I found this place to be very clean and mostly quite all the time, the only time i heard noise was when a big group of people moved through the building. All in all a very posative experence.

This hostel's major strength is that it's cheap. The hostel was overbooked when I stayed there…read morewith a group. You're forced to use an antiquated pay-for-internet-time system that works sporadically at best. The rooms are small. Showers are on a short timer. And, during a stay with a group, the hostel screwed up the reservation with no apology. If fact, the approach of the staff and the manager is that they're doing a favor by just being there. Maybe it works for Germans familiar with such an attitude. But if you're a foreigner be very wary of this place or at least be prepared to be insulted. There are alternative lodgings in Erfurt and Weimar. I would urge you to consider them.

The receptionists were very warm-hearted and accommodating and always available to answer questions. There's a lovely garden space with a friendly neighborhood cat. A very convenient location in the center of Weimar; all the buses stop right in front of the hostel and it's an easy walk to the train and Flixbus stations. There was a very sweet feeling of community that made Labyrinth a home away from home for the three weeks of my stay.
