I am, again, unhappy that I am limited to 5 stars when reviewing something surrounding my recent…read moreproposal in Paris. I wanted to give my jeweler extra stars and now I want to give Caroline extra stars, but as I am limited to 5, I will make due with what I have. I was looking to stage a proposal somewhere near the Eiffel Tower with someone who could sing one of my fiance's (yup, she said yes) favorite songs from Phantom of the Opera. Yes, it was Masquerade! The perfect proposal song...just kidding, it was All I Ask of You. Anyway, it took a lot of searching and sent messages until I found Caroline and sent a message. She was not only able to find me a singer who could do it (Sophie), but she was instrumental in helping me find a location. She sent me marked up maps of possible locations, and then a couple of weeks before my trip, when she discovered the location's views of the tower were now blocked by security fencing, she went above and beyond in helping me find a new location, and one that was even better then the first. But more than that, Caroline was patient and helpful. This was obviously a big decision and it took me a while to decide that yes, this is what I wanted to do, and she never gave up or disappeared on me. She constantly responded to my questions quickly and helpfully, and was a pleasure to work with. As for our singer, Sophie, she was so kind and sweet and a lovely singer. In addition to singing the chosen song, she sang us a French love song and took photos and videos of the proposal while singing and playing a guitar (I have no idea how she did all of this). She was wonderful, and an excellent musician and, thankfully, punctual. The proposal was everything I had hoped it would be, including the answer, and I have Caroline and Sophie to thank for a lot of that. Frankly, Melissa and I have been together 10 years, so if I didn't do something like this, she would have asked what the hell took 10 years to plan? Anyway, I couldn't more strongly recommend using Caroline for your special event music needs.
