I was given Sunset Event Production's contact information by my caterer, Fayolle Gourmet, and couldn't be more thankful for the introduction. Laurent and his team did a site visit and I had to depend on him to let me know what he thought would be best for the unusual space (an airplane hangar that was converted into a boat marina). He did site visits and put everything together. On the day of, we were told that we could not set up the space until 5 pm while our event started at 6 pm. I had a mini panic attack. There was water on the floor. The space was very industrial. Laurent and his team transformed the place so very quickly. They went above and beyond. The lighting was spectacular. I even had someone from the marina ask if they could speak with Laurent to get more info on the up-lights he used. So many of our guests said it was the coolest and most unique venue space they've ever been to and it was only thanks to Sunset Event Production and how they transformed the space. I also was in a bind with music as the wifi was spotty so my Pandora list wasn't working. Laurent had the most perfect playlist available and DJed as well even though he was not asked or paid to. I could not have been happier with his services and Fayolle Gourmet. Both teams just really saved the day.

Him and Josh were very generous in taking lots of time prior to our wedding to go over a particular style and genres of music that we wanted, and Danny really kept up with all the requested tracks. They also provided Robots and a percussionist for our Hora Loca, which was one of the highlights of our night. After going through the photos, you could not see even one person sitting down. Everyone danced throughout the entire night, all ages from kids to 92 year old grandmas(literally). Everyone had a blast and we haven't gone a day without receiving compliments about the music and Hora Loca party. I can't thank Danny enough for going out of his way to really understand the music we wanted and he executed it beautifully. I will be using Event Factor for any and every event to come.

His product is clean, unbroken, not smudged, and definitely does not look 'used' as you would find with other event furniture suppliers/renters. I booked Riddims Junkanoo Band in April 2026 for my July 18, 2026, 50th birthday milestone…read morecelebration. I intentionally booked several months in advance to secure my event date and selected the 10-12 band member package because I wanted to create a memorable cultural experience for my guests. My performance time was scheduled for 9:30 p.m., and I made it clear from the beginning that this time was not flexible because it was coordinated with the overall flow of the evening. Throughout the planning process, communication was responsive, and I had no concerns leading up to the event. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, I was asked to submit the final payment earlier that day, although we had originally agreed that final payment would be made upon the band's arrival. Later that evening, my MC informed me that Rick had advised the band would not arrive until approximately 11:00 p.m., about 90 minutes after the agreed performance time. By the time the band arrived, many of my guests had already left, which meant they missed the 10-12 member Junkanoo experience I had carefully planned and invested in months in advance. Because my event began at 7:00 p.m., the performance occurred near the end of the evening, significantly impacting the timeline and guest experience that had been discussed and agreed upon beforehand. To their credit, the performers who arrived brought great energy. The female dancer was especially engaging, and the guests who remained thoroughly enjoyed the performance. In fact, some guests who were preparing to leave turned around and came back inside when they saw the band lining up outside. I genuinely appreciate the enthusiasm and entertainment they provided once they arrived. However, for milestone celebrations, weddings, anniversaries, or other events where timing and guest flow are critical, punctuality is just as important as performance quality. In my opinion, a delay of a few minutes is understandable, but a 90-minute delay after an agreed-upon performance time is not. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company for events where adherence to a scheduled timeline is an important part of the overall guest experience.
