My mom and I came here for her to get a piercing and for me to just get a simple tiny tattoo. We were walk-ins and they were friendly and ready to accept us (we were expecting to probably have to make an appointment). Jose who did my tattoo was friendly and the guy who does the piercings was super chill and pretty funny. Although the shop minimum for a tattoo was a bit high ($100), they do a good job with what we wanted and were nice so it was fine. I'm happy with my tat and my mom is happy with her piercing. Wrote my name down 30 minutes after they opened for a tattoo with the 3/13 discount, there was only a few people ahead of me. At 7:30 they texted saying they were ready for me, went there and there was so many people, waited an hour and half there and they told me we were next, saw some group of people walk in that knew one of the artists and they just LET THEM go in front of everybody else. Made an appointment with James on Friday 2/10 for an appointment on Saturday 2/11 @ 5pm. Got there on time at 5pm, waited til 6 asked how much longer he said a few minutes. Asked again at 630 he said about an hour. Come on, learn to book people! I had to give a $50 deposit feel like that's a scam! Cause I listen to two other people make appointments & they didn't have to give one. Must be because I just wanted a small tattoo on my ring finger wasn't worth his time. Went to get a tattoo with Angie, an apprentice, yesterday for my first tattoo. Absolutely amazing! She did wonderful with the fine line portions of it and made me feel completely comfortable the entirety of the appointment. My tattoo artist Bruce Lee cancelled with me 20 minutes before my appointment in January of 2024, asking to reschedule, but I had never heard from her again. After 3 months of not hearing anything and constantly trying to contact her, I went into the shop to speak with the owner about getting my deposit money back and he refused to help me. He said he'd offer me a tattoo done by him for free, "out of the goodness of his heart", as he put it exactly, in a rude manner, but frankly, had I wanted a piece by him I would have scheduled with him in the first place. When I asked him about getting in contact with his employee, he refused and said he wouldn't speak on my behalf of getting my money back, but only to transfer my deposit from her to himself, which makes absolutely no sense to me. Once again the artist never contacted me back; however, a friend of mine went into the shop a month after I hadn't heard from her (friend wasn't aware of the situation. and scheduled an appointment with her, and frequently communicated back and forth with her (the artist did end of cancelling but they did in fact receive communication and easy money transfer on the matter. The owner said the artist was sick with a matter dealing with POTS, which I 100% believe and understand as my sister has POTS as well and I am familiar with the drastic symptoms and episodes that take place; however, given that the artist is known to frequent the shop and contact other clients, but not me, I do not think this is acceptable behavior. The owner was patronizing towards me and highly condescending when all I wanted was my deposit money back. read more

Completely understandable but when I had texted them just saying my name, when the next availability is, and sent a picture of the tattoo I would've liked to get and told them they get put their own spin to it just to be completely ignored never got a text back just left on opened lol read more

I give this zero stars Justin overbooked me and my girlfriend for eight hours of work he flew through her lion tattoo took in maybe an hour and a half then almost tried to rebook me after our appointment had been Booked for over a month so he performed two hours of work on me and no new work was performed all he did was go over my old stuff and I paid $300 for that which I never should've and then I also paid $150 credit and he refuses to give that back to me hard to get in touch with I would never recommend this place to anybody save your money too expensive not worth the work terrible customer service will never go back there again and neither will my girl read more

This place is awesome! All of the artists do amazing work because they are exactly that.. artists. They are a custom shop so I know that each tattoo I get is hand drawn and tailored to me, not just a picture copied out of a book. The atmosphere is great and the shop is always clean. The artists and manager are very friendly and easy to talk to. I drive an hour to get there and it's totally worth it. I will never go anywhere else for tattoos. These guys really know what they're doing, don't go anywhere else if you want not only a tattoo but a piece of art. Each artist has a different style, whether its traditional, realistic, old or new school, they've got it all! No matter what you want, you'll find it here. I went in with a bunch of coworkers to get tattoos. We all got different variations of the semi colon tattoo (look it up if you don't know the meaning behind it). There were about 15 of us and Justin, Bear, Krystal, and the dude with tattooed eyes (sorry I didn't catch your name) were so awesome. They were patient with us and very accommodating. I got my navel piercing done here, and after a year it refused to heal. It wasn't rejecting, it just wouldn't heal. I did all the recommended cleaning strategies, and nothing worked, so it might have just been the way it was pierced. Anyway, I ended up just taking it out and letting the hole heal up. May not be a direct value of the business, but I'd just be careful if you plan on getting pierced here. read more

I was pleased with the visual work on the walls and Matt came highly recommended. But, when it came time for my appointment he was a no-show. I was disappointed. I waited an hour after my appointment to see him, and no one offered to call him or find out where he was. When I went to reschedule they said they could not at this time? Dixie tattoo, first off this place is one of the cleanest tattoo shops I've been to. Staff are very professional and friendly, they'll take care of all your body art from small to large.
