I knew it was time to finally see what I have been missing all these years. And, sure enough, I have been missing out big time! Right from the time I entered the building, Mandi was very professional, welcoming and put me at ease. The entire massage experience and ambiance was fantastic. The room was lovely, the bed was perfectly cozy, the music was so soothing, and Mandi even added some lavender aroma therapy that I loved (she asked me if I would like some). Not only was the environment perfect, Mandi's massage was incredible. She was very responsive to my preferences and specific needs. Since this was my first massage, I opted for a light to medium pressure massage. This was perfect for me. I was so relaxed and whatever area Mandi was working on felt soooooo good. She spent extra time where needed, but managed a full body massage in 60 minutes. During my massage, I really wished I had booked a 90 minute! Next time! And, yes, there will definitely be a next time! I am hooked! Thanks, Mandi :)

At the time I had a headache, within 10 minutes of starting, that was gone, within 20 I was almost falling asleep. I can't speak highly enough of the ashiatsu massage, had always gotten swedish or deep tissue on the past which was good, but this was on a whole different level in terms of the type of pressure she was able to apply. Got to spots I've been craving to get a release from but could never get on my own, felt drunk from relaxation by the time I left. Go see Mandi and enjoy, you won't regret it.

I had a very unfortunate interaction with the owner. I had a less than satisfactory experience with…read moreone of the massage therapists, it was a very strange massage and was unlike anything I had previously experienced there. First the essential oils placed under my face gave me quite a migraine. I have a herniated disc in my neck which I acknowledge that sometimes that could be an issue but for me this has never been a problem during massages. For some reason she placed several, and I mean several, hot towels on my neck which was immediately pretty painful as this was heavy to be placed with heat on a herniated disc, no matter how healed. Then she quite literally covered me in lotion, like a ridiculous amount where I couldn't even get dressed, barely touched me and ran out of the room, almost before I could even ask her for a towel (I was literally drenched in lotion) and before the session was supposed to be over. So I was left in more pain plus a migraine with a shortened session and covered in lotion, and I did notice that she didn't greet me afterwards to offer me water and make sure I'm doing good like they usually do here. This was all very strange and bizarre, but I assumed maybe this had to do with inexperience and wanted to leave feedback as to why this wasn't the best experience, especially since this is a luxury service that wasn't cheap. The owner called me the next day, and she was genuinely one of the most hostile and unpleasant people I had ever talked to. I am not a confrontational person, and I do think I was being reasonable in leaving feedback. She called me and told me that there is absolutely no way that any of this happened, and that she "welcomes me to not return". I told her that this was unfortunate to hear because I had such positive experiences in the past there, to which she told me I didn't go there enough times to have that much of an opinion. She kept telling me that I am more than welcome to not return, and at this point I wasn't going to but I just wanted her to tell me directly that she was banning me from returning for having a negative experience. She was avoiding saying explicitly that I could not return, but she kept insisting I was welcome to go elsewhere. I told her I would probably leave a review of the situation, to which she said "well that's not very nice of you". I told her it's not very nice to ban me for expressing concerns with my session. She hung up the phone abruptly, and the next day another staff member called and offered to reschedule me with someone else. I politely declined. I also want to mention that the ramp to get in the door is extremely inaccessible, I am a wheelchair user and it's borderline hazardous the way it is oriented. If I am to open the door, I have to be on the ramp which is difficult, or the door will push me down the stairs. If you use a mobility aid or have chronic pain I would not recommend, not because of the staff but 100% because of the owner.

I had a 1-hour deep tissue massage with Megan W. When she brought me back to the room, she reiterated what I had written down on the intake form. My goal was to get the knots out from my shoulders, back, and calves. After about 10-15 minutes, Megan asked me about the pressure. I said she could go firmer but I didn't notice a difference. I was hoping she'd get the knots out but the massage was relaxing. Shes also very professional. Before my appointment, I received 1 phone reminder and 3 text messages (before I typed STOP because I didn't need another reminder).

Jeff and his staff were super helpful and warm during my visit and never missed an opportunity to make me more comfortable. Massage was awesome and it was easy to relax as Jeff was attentive to personal preference of pressure and comfort. I had lower back issues that I'd been experiencing for months that was causing numbness in my legs. I felt almost immediate relief after the massage and could feel increased blood flow and warmth radiating from my back once he stretched the muscles. It's easy to see he is very knowledgeable and will focus exactly on any issues that you let him know about. The facial followed directly after and did wonders for my skin. Emily also was really great about asking about problems and even offered to do my eyebrows. I was a little nervous about that at first since I've had waxes before where too much hair has been taken off but she assured me that she was all about the full natural look :). Oh my gosh it was so fast and very little discomfort. She did such an amazing job, it looked really clean and almost zero irritation and redness. She informed me she uses hard wax that's easier on the skin. It didn't stay sore all day like normal waxing which was awesome. She also uses all natural products and gave me some tips for skin care going by my age and skin type, which felt really special since I'm not used to such a personalized consultation for facials. By the time I left, I felt and looked way better than when I walked in and the price is a steal considering the experience I had. I am hoping to come back within a month to take advantage of their deal for new guests. Would love to make it a habit of coming here.

I received a return call from the owner and was able to schedule an appointment for a facial and waxing. The office has a parking lot right out front. I was greeted by a smiling face and a calm waiting area. It is small and quaint. Emily was professional and walked me through each procedure. The facial left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed afterwards. She used pretty good products that I was not allergic to. I find that important because I have sensitive skin and everything doesn't do well on my skin. Waxing is something else that she does. I was nervous, but she explained how it worked and took time to make me feel comfortable. She offered cooling towels after each arm. She was meticulous with getting my underarms nice and smooth. She used tweezers for the stray hairs and I have always been satisfied. I have even walked away from a bikini wax without crying, no redness, and a new found respect for estheticians. I now go to only her for waxing and facial services now.

We talked about what I needed and why. She was understanding of my late soulmate who stays close and is very protective. She asked EBS'S permission to work. She could even heard him. The session lasted 55 minutes. I came back a couple weeks later for a deep message therapy for the lower back and legs. This helped my legs more than anything else has.
