I met Shawna about a month ago for my first reading ever. It was such an amazing, life-changing experience. I actually found her on Yelp, read all the reviews, and was very impressed about what people were saying. I myself am a little bit of a skeptic and I know there are a lot of people out there who pretend to have this gift that actually don't--which is very sad (especially when you find someone as amazing as Shawna who is sharing her beautiful gift with the world and is going about it in a genuine and helpful way). Nonetheless, I found Shawna to be a very kind and professional person. I didn't talk with her much before the reading because she dove right into it (which was fine by me). After the reading, though, it was like she had known me for years and years. Not only was everything she said 100% spot on, it was extremely detailed. The Spirit talked for practically the entire hour. The only time the Spirit stopped was to ask if I had another question (I would definitely come prepared with like 5 or 6 really important questions that you want answered). Then, she would elaborate on past questions while answering new questions as if it was all coming to her in pieces and she was putting the puzzle that is my life together right before my very eyes. I asked her about my upcoming surgery and it was like she knew exactly what kind of surgery it was and for what reasons I was doing it. AMAZING. She could tell me things about my past--like how much I struggled with depression--and she told me that most of that is over, which I was very grateful to hear. She pinpointed aspects of my personality that were absolutely spot-on--like how feisty I am and that I am extremely sensitive. She told me that I learn very well as a journeyman/apprentice from others and advised me that, despite my sincere efforts in this life to be non-threatening, they might see me as a threat. She also said that I should continue learning and imitating because, even though they see me as a threat, that doesn't make me threatening--just really specific and interesting things that pertain to my life and what I am experiencing. Since that time, I actually found out that I had to get my surgery postponed for cost reasons. However, when I do get it in June 2015, I plan on going to Shawna for her skills as a Reiki master. I definitely intend to be a repeat customer. I asked her about my boyfriend, my future children, my mom. She told me about my boyfriend and my mom--about the way they were and their motives for doing things or not doing things. It was so eye-opening. I cried more than once in the session because no one had ever been able to get me so well and to know who I was so wholly that it was reassuring to have someone who knew what I was going through without having to spill my guts in front of a therapist (**if you're looking for tissues in the middle of the session, they are likely under the table). I thought about the reading nonstop for three days afterward--the implications of what she said and how it would play out in my life and just pondering what the future would be like... I'm still thinking about what she said and how it's going to affect me in my life right now and in the future. I can say I have had readings from the very best, Mary Malone who lives in Ireland! She used to come to San Diego years ago. It has been difficult to find someone who can reach her leverl.
