It required Novocain and was much more intense than a standard cleaning, but the results were amazing. My mouth had never felt so clean, and the hygienist's skill impressed me so much that I actually started flossing regularly for the first time. Even more remarkable was Dr. Sweidan's observation of my receding gum line at the front. To my surprise, he told me it could be corrected with a graft--something I had resigned myself to living with for life. I went forward with the procedure, and while the two weeks of recovery required some adjustments with eating and cleaning, the results were absolutely worth it. A month later, my mouth feels healthy and strong, and I could not be happier with the outcome.
